Parker's Paradise on the Ottawa River

A family owned property for over 30 years, Parker's Paradise is perfectly located on a beautiful section of the Ottawa River in Sheenboro Quebec, directly across from Petawawa, ON. With over 140 feet of sandy waterfront greatness, Parker's Paradise is known to have the best sunsets on "the Ottawa". The main cottage is sun soaked and air filled and includes an open concept kitchen / family room (TV, movies), three separate bedrooms (all with double beds) and 2 bathrooms. A large sprawling deck (screened in and open air) lets you relax after a long day on the beach to watch the sunset or an early morning coffee to take in the rising sun and fog.

The bunk house is positioned directly beside the cottage and is a fan favorite for kids of all ages or a large group. It includes a king size bed, queen size custom built bunk-beds and a set of single bunk-beds. This area lets the kids escape to their own place while allowing adults a quieter atmosphere within the cottage.

The waterfront area includes a beach that has to be enjoyed to really be appreciated, a gradual water entry great for kids, boat activities etc. The cottage is well appointed with beach chairs, kids toys, 4 kids kayaks (up to 100lbs), a canoe and 14' aluminum boat (no motor) all included within the cottage rental.

This section of the Ottawa boasts over 47 km's of boating paradise, incredible fishing and water sports.

The cottage is also a 10 min walk to The Fort, which back in the early years was used as a Hudson Bay trading posts and hotel. Today you can enjoy dinner and drinks, live music, beach volleyball and simply pulling your boat up and enjoying some quality family time. The history in this area is remarkable and the Fort remains a testament to the history behind it.
