| We love this cottage and it was our second time staying - wont be our last either!
It was a group of 23 adults, we had lots of fun - villa is spacious and 2 tv comes handy when you go with large group.
I read other reviews some complained about cleanliness. We found the villa very clean and no problem; but regardless, people do you seriously don't take your own bedding when you go to a cottage? I was just wondering?.
We love the hot tub, the fire pit, bbq, everyone had fun. We will be back Ojoo and Kevin ? thank you for all you did for us

| Our family of 18 enjoyed this beautiful vacation home. We had rented this home several years ago and were impressed with the updates made including furniture, beds, repainting, and flooring. There is a great deal of space on each of the floors. The bedrooms are designed for couples with children, most having either a double or queen bed along with 1 to 3 single beds included in each bedroom for children.
We were met by the very friendly manager, Ojo, when we arrived and he gave us a tour of the home, showing us how to operate the fireplace, heat, and hot tub. Any small issues were dealt with promptly by Ojo.
The house is clean and includes pots & pans, coffee makers, and a lot of fridge and freezer space. The outdoor space is also great including lawn area to play soccer, a large outdoor fire area, and there is plenty of parking. It is also a short walk to the wonderful view of the water. Our family really enjoyed the many games that are available in the lower level and especially the beautiful lights.
We will certainly consider returning to this vacation home again. I want to thank the owner and especially the manager Ojo, for the warm welcome and for the immediate response when we needed to contact him with our questions. My only fear is, more people will want to rent this place and it won't be available to us when we want it.

| Our stay at this house was enjoyable, but we noticed cleanliness issues, such as band-aids and hair in the showers, and the oven had caked-on grease. The overall cleanliness suggested a need for a thorough deep clean, including sinks with old food in the drain stoppers. Duvets also smelled like they had been unwashed from previous stays.
While we didn't mind the lack of provided towels and soap, more hand and kitchen towels would have been appreciated. The water had an odd and gritty taste, indicating water filtration issues. The hot tub could benefit from better maintenance.
At the end $80 was taken off our deposit for a $30 kettle that was mistakenly damaged. We offered to replace it instead of taking it from the deposit. Owner said he would only be taking off $60. The lack of transparency was truly eye opening with this booking. We will definitely be asking more questions next time.

Owner response: Hi Bat, I'm sorry to hear about your recent complaint regarding the cleanliness of our cottage. At our company, we take great care to ensure that our cottage is thoroughly cleaned and prepared for our next clients after each stay. It's concerning to hear that you found band-aids and hair in the showers, as well as caked-on grease in the oven, despite our cleaning company performing deep cleaning and washing all bedding after every client leaves. We take all complaints seriously and have immediately contacted our cleaning company and side manager to investigate the issue. However, they have denied any negligence on their part. After the review, we called you for the photos of the evidence but unfortunately, we couldn't reach you. We understand that you may have incurred expenses to purchase a new kettle, but unfortunately, we do not allow clients to replace damaged items as it may lead to other complications. The kettle price ranges between $20 to $190 plus tax, plus the time our side manager spends (we have to pay him extra for his time). We believe $60 was fair. (Our kettle's original price was $80.) Although our agreement states that we do not provide toilet paper, we have left 4 rolls of toilet paper free of charge for your convenience. If there is anything else we can do to make things right, please do not hesitate to let us know. | |

| Amazing cottage! Great location, decor, and very clean too. Owner was very nice and fair. The hot tub was a great size and super clean. Would definitely recommend to anyone and can't wait to come back.

| Great house in an excellent location! Friendly staff especially the sweet manager. The hot tub was nice and big The property is only 15 minutes from the wasaga beach and 40 minutes from the beautiful downtown of callingwood town.
We were group of 21 family friends and everyone enjoyed and had a lot of fun during our two day's stay there.
