I rented this beautiful cabin for ten days. My mom and two aunts joined me for one week. The surroundings are peaceful and the large veranda with its comfy outdoor furniture offers a beautiful view of the river from two sides of the cabin. The cabin is clean, spacious and well-equipped. The beds are comfortable. Martin was easily accessible and very helpful in ensuring that we had everything we needed (e.g. The name of a good mechanic I could speak to about my car trouble). We played badminton and 'washers', canoed on the tranquil river, and enjoyed wine while bird-watching from the Adirondac chairs in front of the cottage. We visited the Richibucto River winery where we indulged in a bit of wine tasting and picked the sweetest grapes. We had dinner at Makeba - a restaurant recommended by other reviewers. We highly recommend you eat there. We visited various beautiful villages that are within easy access from the cottage. Bouctouche offers a beautiful national park where I could bring my Labrador retriever along for a walk. Shediac is also easily accessible by car. New Brunswick is a wonderful place to visit and the people are very friendly and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our vacation and our stay at the cabin. We highly recommend this cabin. Thank you Martin!

Michelle C:
This rental was exactly what we were looking for, for a great vacation, it was a great get together of 4 friends that went to school together 45+ years ago for a week. Wanted to thank you for an awesome place to have a peaceful and fun holiday! We took numerous canoe and kayaking trips, beautiful scenery. We did go to town a couple of times and we had dinner at MAKEBO...food was awesome. We played Washer Toss every day..weather was incredible. We had a fire just about every-night with a weeny roasts. Definitely, coming back again next year. Thank you!
Christine C:
So this is what heaven is like! Absolutely, one of the most incredible vacations I've ever been on. Thank you a million times over, for the opportunity to enjoy your gorgeous cottage. Would come back in a heart beat, again. Thank you!
Martha D:

This log cabin getaway was just what I was looking for when planning our vacation this year! I went with my husband for the whole week but also had some others throughout the week stay with us. The cabin itself is very roomy and clean! The view is amazing and every morning we enjoyed our breakfast and coffee looking out at the river! We were very fortunate with having beautiful weather for our whole stay which made the canoeing/kayaking even more enjoyable. My dog had an absolute blast! There is a big yard so she could run around and play ball and of course she loved playing with her frisbee in the river! Martin was very prompt to my emails leading up to the stay and during the stay making sure we were happy! Thanks so much, Martin!
I would love to go during another time of year but either way we will most definitely be heading back!! Absolutely loved this place! :)

My family and I stayed at this log cabin for our annual Winterfest during this past March Break week. We absolutely loved this place and we would book it over and over again! It is a beautiful cabin and the location is just outstanding. This cabin is clean and fully equipped with everything you need for your whole family to be comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well equipment, you basically only need to bring you own food. We were a large group but there was plenty of room and comfortable beds for all of us. The extra loft area over the garage was perfect, as it gave a little privacy for those who preferred going to bed earlier or sleeping in.
We planned on doing lots of outdoor activities, but the weather was too cold so we had to mostly stay inside and play games which was not a problem. Weather permitting, it would of been a great spot for snowshoeing or in this case, skating on the river. We got to use a little fishing shack and caught a few smelts which was an awesome experience for the kids. We also loved the fact that Kouchibougouac park was a short drive away for more activity options.
The owner was a pleasure to work with and was there to greet us and walked us through the cabin as we arrived.
Overall, what a peaceful and relaxing environment! You'll be sad to leave and leave it all behind after your stay!

First of all the Cabin is SPOTLESS. It is in a beautiful private location along the river and the Cabin has lots of character. We went snow shoeing along the river, and the National Park is only a short drive away. The Cabin had ample room for all 8 of us to sleep and comfortably lounge around together. The Fireplace makes the Cabin so warm and cozy and the cabin has a really nice rustic and yet modern feel to it. I would most certainly go back again!
