Our family owned property features a 1800 square feet house located on the Trent-Severn Waterway. This four bedroom two bath home sleeps 10 or more and has a great living area with vaulted ceilings overlooking the Trent River. A private dock makes for great evening views of the sunset and a wonderful place for the fireworks show on the holidays. This home has 4 Bedrooms, each bedroom has one queen size bed. The guest house has two queen beds and a double Futton that easily sleeps five more guests. The main living room is large and has 2 large sofas that can also be used for sleeping. This property offers 130 feet of lake frontage for your family and friends to enjoy. The water is gradual from the shore and the lake is well known for its excellent fishing, boating and swimming. The property is 2 acres of level lot and very private. (Plenty of grass for playing sports like; Frisbee, Soccer, Volleyball, Football, Badminton, etc) Included in the rental is a four-person paddleboat, four-person canoe and 3 single kayaks. Along with an assortment of adult and children size life jackets. Think of all the memories you can enjoy with your family and friends during your stay at Friendly Acres Cottage. There is a large fire pit to keep warm on those cooler evenings. The public boat dock/ launch is just minutes away and easily accessible.
There is parking for 10 cars on a private paved driveway. Parking is not permitted on grass.
This is the perfect place for families to enjoy summer vacation and experience true lake-side living. It is very clean and updated.
We are located just 1hr 40 minutes from Toronto and 1hr 15minutes from Durham region.

| We had a wonderful time at Friendly Acres cottage. The bunky was great for our bigger kids, and there was great space in the main cottage?.the pictures don't do the place justice for how spacious it is. The swimming area was nice. Lots of grassy area for outdoor games. Being close to any amenities was great.
The only downfall to this place, in our opinion, is that the beds are too firm. Personally, I like a firm bed, but these were too firm for me, as well as the others I rented with. Oh, and the water in the bunky is quite stinky, but we just avoided using it, so it wasn't a big deal.
All in all, it was a wonderful week at Friendly Acres. We saw lots of beautiful wildlife, and enjoyed the peacefulness and scenery of the area!

| We stayed for a week at this beautiful cottage. The cottage was very clean as well as the guest house with everything you need. The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Kids enjoyed fishing, kayaking, swimming and playing various sports as there was plenty of outdoor space. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely visit again.

As a big family it can be tough to find a spot to accommodate but this place had it all .

| This was our first time staying at Friendly Acres. The family had a wonderful time enjoying all the ourltdoor space for games. The little ones and pups had lots of fun playing in the gradual sloped water next to the dock.
We made good use of the paddle boat and kayaks. We rented a fishing boat from a resort near by which made the week for our fishermen complete.
Extra supplies were close by for whatever you may need. The cottage was well equipped. My husband and I stayed in the bunkie which was nicely updated. The beds were quite comfortable.
Thanks Reana for answering all our inquires. We had a wonderful family vacation.

| We stayed in friendly acres cottage for two nights in 7 to 9 Oct. We were 14 all adults and family and friends. The view and garden were really beautiful. The cottage was large enough to accomodate us. The cottage and the guest house were clean. The neighbourhood was also beautifull. I like to thank the host Reana.
I definitley recommebd thos cottage.
