| Our family rented this cottage to celebrate our mom's birthday. It was perfect for our needs. Clean and comfortable with lots of space to be together or get some quiet time to ourselves. The week we had it was HOT but the cottage remained cool and the private beach was not busy and shallow enough for a 4 and 7 year old to play and swim safely. One word of recommendation though is to bring water shoes. When you enter the water the first 10 feet or so is quite rocky then you have nothing but sand and a sand bar beyond that point. The garage was a benefit as well to be able to store water our chairs, blankets, water toys etc without leaving it outside or tracking sand into the house. On rain days we were able to visit Bayfield and Goderich shops and there were good options for golf nearby as well. Excellent stay and many thanks to Stephanie!
