| I cannot rave enough about the Steinhouse! This place is a real gem.
After a last minute cancellation, we lucked out and were able to rent it this past weekend.
This quiet country setting is the perfect place to wind down and relax. The owners, Pete and Angela and the manager, Kathlynn, are attentive, helpful and kind. The house is peaceful, tastefully decorated and has everything you need to make it a home away from home. There were also a few little surprises that made us smile :) The country setting is so beautiful. The farm animals are so cute and the family dogs are super friendly.
We will definitely be back and are already looking forward to our next visit!!

| We were very fortunate to stumble upon the Steinhouse listing and finding that it was available on our short notice. It was exactly what our family was looking for while we vacationed in the Port Elgin area. It served as a great quiet and secluded location for us to use as a home base while we did some day tripping into Southampton and Port Elgin. The cottage was very spacious and had all the amenities one would need. The owners Peter and Angela were great and we enjoyed learning more about the history of the cottage and the Bruce Steinhoff paintings which can be found throughout the cottage. There are so many more great things we could say about our stay, but we do not want to give away too many details as we think some things you just need to experience yourselves! As much as we would like to keep the knowledge of this gem to ourselves, we will certainly be sharing our positive experience with others, as it deserves to be seen and experienced. We just hope that we can book again in the future as we have a feeling this cottage will become popular!

| Worth every penny and more! Everyone involved was very accommodating and helpful. The place was beautiful inside and out and the farm animals around are adorable! It was very quiet and peaceful and far from the road which was great! It also has just about everything you would need to stay here in my opinion they went above and beyond. Would recommend and hopefully will be back!
