| 'Edgemere Escape' is spectacular on many levels:
The house: it's old and charming and still very comfortable. The living room is large and comfortable with spectacular views. The kitchen is very well stocked with everything a big group would need. The beverage fridges are a nice bonus. The large covered bbq areas are awesome and handy for inclement weather. The large outside eating area served us excellently. The 8 bedrooms are well-sized, but note that passageway from the 4 corner bedrooms must go through one of the interior bedrooms. Upstairs air conditioning was a welcome bonus!
The property: it is a huge flat lot with nice grass, large trees, and lots of parking. The neighbouring properties are well-maintained and add to the ambiance with a parkland look. Views are to die for; either up top or from the beach.
The beach: this was a major highlight. The sand here is amazing: on the land and in the water. This spot on crescent beach is the best stretch since there's no rocks and the water here is perfect.
The area: there are so many great spots to check out; whether it be going toward or down the Niagara river, or venturing to the various beautiful towns westward.
The hosts: they responded to every question in a timely matter and helped make our stay as great as it was.
If I was rating this trip out of 100, it would receive a perfect score. This was the highlight of our summer. Every aspect of this rental was perfect.
