| This was our 2nd time at this cottage. As usual, we loved it. Rudy and Jane are excellent hosts. Instructions are clear. The cottage is clean, well equipped, and very private. We had almost all our meals in the large gazebo. Kids loved fishing from the deck. Kayaking along the mud bay was peaceful...looking forward to go back again.

| My family had a great long weekend in Jane's cottage. Jane is very nice and always provides detailed response timely. The cottage has everything what we need. It is located just 7 minutes from Charleston Lake Provincial Park. However, you don't need go to the park, because the best view is already in front of the cottage. In early morning, I took the most bueatiful picture of fall's color from the deck. We did also enjoy dinner in the gazebo, that is an excellent experience. Thanks a lot Jane. Wish you and your family all the best and stay well.

| Loved our week at the Charleston Lake Cottage Retreat.
Glamping at its finest. The weather was great. On the nice days we were on the water as much as possible.
We had one really humid day, but windy, we went for a drive and toured the locks near by. Upper and Lower Brewers and Kingston Mills.
We had two cooler days which were perfect to take the trails, very few bugs.

| We found the cottage beautifully designed and equipped for comfort. With the windows open, there were such lovely breezes off the water, and the cottage cooled down so pleasantly at night for sleeping. We loved being on Mud Bay, as it was quiet with extremely little boat traffic. The views over the water were lovely, especially the sunsets! We enjoyed exploring by canoe the bay and into the bigger part of the lake ? thankfully, the winds were quite light all week. The varied bird species in the area were lots of fun to spot ? to name just a few, we saw bald eagles, ospreys, loons (with chick!), wood ducks, merlins, pileated woodpeckers, etc. We were delighted that the bug levels were quite low, even into the evening, and the big screened room was so relaxing to sit in and not worry about any bugs at all. While we couldn't swim right off the dock, we liked looking into the water to see fish - there were nice swimming spots to go to easily by canoe. We'd rent here again, for sure!

| Our group of 6 had a great time at the cottage. Owners very kindly adapted at last minute to our arrival date and made us feel very welcome. Cottage has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Clean and well equipped, neighbors not too near. Gazebo was a welcome addition to meal times. Plenty of smaller fish to be caught at the dock although a little weedy. We would recommend this cottage to anyone.
