We rented the brown cottage again this summer. We've also rented both cottages and made it a fun filled family vacation. Bay Haven Cottages has truly become a special place for our family. This summer we were lucky enough to have both of my husband's brothers as well as his sister come and stay from out West and just West of Kingston with their families. They too are in love with Bay Haven and it's beautiful sunsets and fresh breezes coming off the St. Lawrence River. As always, the kids thoroughly enjoyed swimming, fishing and boating throughout our week's stay. Campfires every night are a must. One night I saw four shooting stars within an hour! A special thank you to Karen and Rick, the owners, for all they do to keep their cabins and the grounds so well maintained and clean! We hope to be back again soon.

We have just returned from two wonderful weeks at the brown cottage. The cottage was easy to find down a scenic private lane. On arrival we were delighted to find a spic and span clean well equipped kitchen which was open to the great room area complete with a fireplace, and everything our family would need for a great holiday. There are two bedrooms in the main cottage and a cute bunkie for two. We were enchanted by the wild life and, oh the views! A 180 degree view of the mighty St Lawrence River. For evening fun we enjoyed the fire pit and the satellite tv, during the day the swimming was great for all ages with a gradual slope into the water, and two boats were at our disposal. Just strolling around the property was beautiful and very relaxing. The owners were most helpful and friendly, we had our privacy but they were there if we needed them. The distance to Kingston or Gananaque was perfect for groceries or a take out dinner. We would go back in a heartbeat!

We were introduced to the cottages in August 2014 since my mother was staying in the brown cottage for a week; we live in Sydenham so it was easy to spend a couple of days there with her; we were so impressed that in 2015 we rented the larger cottage for 4 weeks in August; we lived there while commuting to work in Kingston, and worked virtually using a hotstick internet; our kids loved the biking on the lane, swimming in the bay and some excursions into nearby Gananoque. We hosted friends and extended family; the larger cottage is perfect for that with plenty of space for sleeping and eating. The owners are there when you need them but respect everyone's privacy; they are generous with their time and if you are willing to share some time with them, wonderful people to get to know. Our summer plans were a roadtrip this year 2016 but they will be the first people we call when we want to do a local cottage again. Renting both cottages with another family would be our ideal situation.

My nieces and nephew, along with their families, rented both cottages for a week and I had the pleasure of visiting with them on two separate occasions. I am happy to say that I had no idea there was such a beautiful place so close to where we live! Both cottages were very clean and the beach area was beautiful! The view is breathtaking. The children certainly enjoyed their vacation and were never bored. On the final evening of their stay, Karen (owner) was nice enough to take the kids for a ride on her 4 wheeler around the property, which they thoroughly enjoyed. I believe they will be booking again for next year!!

My husband and I and our three young children stayed at this cottage while our good friends rented the brown cottage with their children . It is a beautiful piece of tranquility conveniently located between Kingston and Ganaoque . My kids loved the freedom of using the row boat and swim dock for fishing. We also enjoyed having our friends boat there for tubing. The sunsets are beautiful and much singing took place around the fire at night. We also loved having our pets with us .
