Simpson Lakehouse - Hilltop sunset views, private sauna!

Relax and enjoy our beautiful and cosy hilltop oasis with modern amenities in the Rideau Lakes area, located an hour north of Kingston and just 10 minutes from the charming town of Westport. The bungalow cottage features picturesque windows in the living room, 2 main bedrooms with comfortable queen beds, a bunk bed room, a spacious new bathroom and fully stocked kitchen including a dishwasher. Additional sleeping space is available in the bunky with a single over double bunk bed, or on the 9 foot long sectional sofa. For rainy days and evenings the cottage comes stocked with board games and a crokinole/chess board, unlimited WIFI and a smart TV. Feel free to stay a little longer with a washer and drier, ample bedroom shelving as well as UV treated safe to drink water right out of the taps! We also provide a 5 burner BBQ with propane included.

The cottage faces west and guarantees beautiful sunsets every night from the living room, lakeview bedroom or the glass rail 25 foot deck at the top with a dining table and string lights. 15 steps down you will find a wooden Finnish sauna with a shaded deck, featuring zero gravity chairs and a tall privacy wall. Another 10 steps down is a smaller deck over the lake and another 9 steps down is a 12 x 20 foot brand new dock. The water is clear and shallow for the first 10 feet and offers great fishing. Go out and explore the bays and islands of Bob's Lake in the canoe, kayak, standup paddle board, or floating on one of the heavy duty WOW noodles. This is the kind of place with a view that takes your breath away from any spot.
