Our charming and spacious 3 Bedroom and 1.5 Bathroom bungalow is located just 1.5 hours North of Toronto, in Tiny Township, with proximity to many beaches, trails and parks. Ideal setting for a family get-together and nature enthusiasts. Plenty of space for everyone in this over 2,000 square ft. home, with lots of quiet sitting areas, both inside and outside.
All bedrooms are located on the same level, with bedroom 1 set up with 1 queen bed; bedroom 2 has 2 Double beds and bedroom 3 has a bunk bed with single over double. There is a full bathroom on the first level with a shower only, and a half bath downstairs with a vanity and toilet.
For our guests' convenience we provide complementary parking pass during their stay for use in one car and all its occupants when parking at any of the public beaches in the area. We provide the essentials such as toilet paper, bath towels (please bring your own beach towels), bedsheets, blankets, pillows, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, liquid hand soap and a hair drier.
Our cottage is conveniently located just a few steps to the spectacular Farlain Lake main access point with a sandy shoreline and shallow access. The lake is spring fed, making the water calm and warm most of the summer. Excursions on a SUP, Canoeing, Kayaking, Jet Skiing and swimming are a lot of fun on this lake all summer long. There is a Jet Ski rental near by that you may want to check out during your stay.
We are just a few minutes driving distance to the Awenda Provincial Park and many beautiful Georgian Bay Beaches with long stretches of sandy shores, crystal-clear water and stunning sunsets. Awenda Park offers many walking/
biking trails, multiple public beaches with our favorite activities on Kettle Lake that includes canoeing, fishing or walking the 5km trail around the lake.
The cottage is approximately 11 minutes driving distance to Penetanguishene and 19 minutes to Midland, where you can enjoy a stroll through parks, visit many shops, dine in various restaurants/bars. For the more adventurous and daring, try the Treetop Trekking and Ziplining at the Horseshoe Valley, which is an easy and quick 40-minute drive from our place. Other attractions, such as the Elmvale zoo, Arcades and Go-Karts in Balm beach or Wasaga beach, are not too far away and fun for the whole family.
