| My family enjoyed a week at Walker's Haven in July 2022, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience! The cottage is immaculate and beautifully decorated, kitchen is the best cottage kitchen we've seen and comes stocked with the essentials you'll need, beds are comfortable and king-size (!) with great quality linens (and the towels are amazing). There is also a mounted smart TV, a DVD player with great selection of movies, and some really challenging puzzles that we had fun working on when it rained.
The lake is gorgeous and perfect for swimming with kids since the sandbar is generous and shallow, and the owners even provide some kids kayaks that our kids just LOVED. The firepit area is large and perfect for a group to hangout in the evenings. The deck is perfect for having a meal outside with a nice big BBQ for grilling - and a little chipmunk friend who is sure to greet you (haha).
We've rented several cottages over the years, and this is the first one that we feel certain we will rent again next year and highly recommend! Thanks Walker's Haven :)
