Welcome to the Wave House - a 4 season cottage - perfectly located in the beautiful lakeside community of Port Dover. Just a short walk to the main beach, restaurants, shops, Lighthouse Theatre, the marina with boat launch, museum, mini putt, and play park. The Space The patio out front is perfect for flipping burgers on the Broil King BBQ with lots of seating at the picnic table, bench or the Muskoka chairs. Out back there is a private deck with patio set for enjoying a quiet morning coffee or evening drink. There will be a canvas gazebo over the back deck once the weather allows. The cook of the family will enjoy the gas stove with griddle - perfect for eggs, bacon and pancakes. The kitchen is fully stocked (equipment) for your cooking needs and even boasts a coffee station so you don't have to get in the way of breakfast cooking to get your morning cup of Joe. The dining and living room area is a great space to play board games, stream a Netflix or Disney movie, cozy up by the gas fireplace and read a book, or enjoy each other's company while sharing a few laughs - or even better a lot of laughs. When the stars are bright in the sky and it is time to toddle off to bed there are two double beds in the upstairs loft with new Endy memory foam mattresses. Be sure to mind your head when upstairs - it is a loft after all. Note that the loft is open to the stairs - there is no door. The more spacious master bedroom has a comfy queen sized bed with a warm feather duvet. There is a dresser and there is a small closet just outside the bedroom that has a full length mirror to ensure you look perfect before heading out to the beach. The main living space and both bedrooms are equipped with their own heat pump/air conditioner unit - allowing you to adjust the room temperatures to suit.

| This was our first stay in Port Dover and first getaway with my boyfriend and his kids. Mackenzie's Wave House is AMAZING! It is super clean, 7-8 min walk to the beach and the cottage was stacked with everything we needed. I highly recommend staying in Port Dover and to book the Wave House. Our group was 3 kids and 2 adults. Absolutely perfect! Thank you Mackenize. You can definitely count on us booking next year. :)

| Second time to Port Dover and first time to the Wave House. The hosts answered all of our questions and made us feel welcome from the first day. The house was super clean and had everything we needed inside (comfy bed and duvet) and out (bbq and sitting area). Loved the personal touches and care throughout, it was so much better than staying in a hotel. From the cool decor, to the fluffy towels, to the local guide made by the hosts, we knew we made a good choice. The location was so close to downtown that we walked to shop and have a few drinks. It was a fun getaway and we would definitely go back. We have family that have now booked their own stay. Highly recommend!

| Our stay at the wave house was absolutely wonderful! The cottage was beautiful, well decorated and furnished, and comfortable. It was well stocked with mostly everything you could need! The location was fantastic being just a short walk to the pier and the main town area. The surrounding area of Port Dover is very charming with lots to discover! Mackenzie and her family are truly great hosts. They are very kind, helpful and helped make us feel at home. Mackenzie also makes the best cookies!
I can't recommend this place enough and I can't wait to come back to stay again at the wave house.
