BEGIN MAKING MEMORIES TO LAST A LIFETIME AT THE COZY COVE. Gorgeous 4 Bedroom cottage on beautiful Whalley Lake. Enjoy the sandy beach with gentle slope to the water. Shallow sandy bottom make for great swimming for young children. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets off the dock and roast marshmallows at the beach bon fire. Lounge all day or go for a leisurely canoe or paddle boat ride. Stunning views from the living room, kitchen/ dining areas and bedrooms. Extensive windows, airy vaulted ceilings and beams thanks to the great architectural design. Comfortable furnishings and décor. Enjoy dinner on the patio deck or in the kitchen nook overlooking the water.
Room for your own boat at the dock and a nearby boat launch is handy. Only a short walk to the Magnetewan Bait and Tackle or a short 5 min drive to the historic village of Magnetewan where you can enjoy fries at the snack shack, pizza from the pizzeria, or the country store to stock up on supplies, ice cream and firewood.
We can accommodate up to 8 Adult Guests with 4 children. Main 3pc. bathroom with shower, Master bedroom with lake views, plenty of dresser space for your clothes. Bedroom #2 is the perfect kids escape with with 3 single beds, a kids LOFT! and lake views. Our third bedroom is features double bed with dresser. Finally the fourth bedroom is perfect for a family that wants to bunk together. Two double beds for parents and kids. Finally we have a large sectional with pull out bed for extra guests.
Bed Linens/quilts/pillows are provided for all beds with spare blankets.
Fully equipped kitchen with great flow, counter top seating for 2 as well as a dining table for 6, the kitchen has great lake views. There is an additional TV/DVD and VCR, some movies, more can be brought from home or can be rented in town if needed. There are games/cards for your enjoyment too.
We will provide 1 set of linens per bed, pillows, quilts, extra blankets, kitchen and hand towels, and a few starter supplies, toilet paper, a couple of laundry pods and dryer sheets, a few dishwasher tabs, garbage bags, a roll of paper towel, hand soap and dish soap to get you started. Please do bring your own shower and/or swimming towels from home.
Our water is filtered however we recommend using the water in the water cooler for all drinking and cooking. We also will leave a gas tank for the BBQ.
Our dock is aprox. 30 ft long, the water depth is about 5 ft at the end. Whalley Lake is aprox. 97Ha with 10Ft maximum depth and average depth is aprox.6ft. Known fish in this lake are Northern Pike, Black Crappie , Lake Trout, Small Mouth Bass, Yellow Perch and Smelt. Fish caught right off the dock!

| My family and I had the best stay at this oasis, beautiful views of the river at sun rise and sun set, kids had the best time using the canoe and paddle boards to fish and every cast caught a fish. The lake was warm and the dock was full of sun until dawn. Sanded beach with a fire pit makes for the coziest summer nights by the lake. Amenities include badminton, horseshoes, games room, sanded beach, satellite. So much to sleep your family and friends visiting, all kitchen supplies Make sure to check out the Mckellar market on Saturday's! Definitely a gem . I have rented a week for 2023 already can't wait!!
