Welcome to Red Rock! This beautiful cottage is situated on the western shore of Lake Muskoka, just 2 hours north of Toronto. This conveniently located property can offer your family a vacation like no other. Enjoy the tranquility of the lake or drive a mere 5 minutes to downtown Gravenhurst to experience the shopping, dining, farmers markets and more on offer there.
The Property
This waterfront property is great for families with its flat, even land and a private shallow, sun-soaked sand beach. Enjoy the long lake views of Lake Muskoka while you toast marshmallows at the waterside fire pit or explore the lake by kayak (2). Renting a boat? The boathouse can accommodate a 27ft boat with room to tie up a jets ski or two outside. Relax and swim from the separate 47ft dock. With two private balconies and a large lakeside porch there is no shortage of places to play and relax.
The Cottage
This spacious and well-built cottage boasts over 4200 sq ft of perfect entertaining space for you and your family. Enjoy the beautiful wood ceilings and floors, the generous size of the bed and bathrooms and the large yet cozy nature of the cottage.
Gaze out at Red Rock Islet while you cook and eat in the well-appointed kitchen and dining area that is large enough to fit the whole family. The barbecue is just steps away on the waterfront porch that overlooks the sand beach.
The three master bedrooms with ensuites, one located on the main floor, all boast flat screen tv's and spacious bathrooms. Looking for some added privacy? The two upstairs master bedrooms enjoy a shared private balcony that overlooks the grass lawn. The two additional bedrooms are perfect for the kids and share a large 4-piece bathroom.
For all your entertainment needs you have three separate spaces to enjoy. The large Games room will keep you entertained with a full-sized pool table, air hockey table, a large tv & DVD set-up, along with a gas fireplace. All this is enveloped by floor to ceiling windows and doors that give the sense of being outdoors. The main floor living room is perfect for relaxing in front of the fireplace and enjoying views of the lake while chatting with those cooking in the kitchen. The large upstairs family room has magnificent lake views which are enhanced by the vaulted ceilings. Watch tv and play video games inside or sit on the waterside balcony and soak in the sun and splendor.

All bed linen and bath towels provided; beds and pillows have protection covers. Some beach towels provided but we recommend you bring your own.

2023 Policies
Muskoka Cottages by Marlene is committed to providing all our Guests and Cottage Owners a safe and responsible rental experience. With the abundant uncertainties around the Covid-19 pandemic situation moving into 2022, we have adjusted our regular Payment and Cancellation Policies. These 2022 updated policies provide a level of flexibility in both timeline commitments and payment obligations.
Payment Policy
50% deposit of a reservation is due within 14 days of a booking request being approved by the Manager, with the balance due 30 days prior to Arrival Date (vs. usual payment policy of 60 days prior).
Cancellation Policy
30 days prior to Arrival Date, the Manager will email Renter requesting confirmation of reservation.
A Renter wishing to cancel a reservation will have his/her deposit (less 5% booking fee) refunded.
A Renter wishing to firm up reservation will be sent a secure link to make his/her balance payment.
A Renter cancelling 1-29 days before Arrival Date will forfeit 100% of the Rental Fee and the 5% booking fee. If the Property is able to be re-booked for the same rental period, 100% of the Rental and Cleaning and Linen Fees, less a $250 Administration Fee and the 5% booking fee, will be refunded to Renter.
An Owner/Manager reserves the right to cancel a Rental Agreement at any time, at which point all payments will be refunded to Renter.
Should the Property not be available due to COVID-19 safety measures, or Acts of Nature (including fire, flood, earthquake, storm, hurricane or other natural disaster), all payments will be refunded to Renter.
