Cottage Life vs. Critters...
Flying, crawling, scurrying animals, and bug life are a part of Cottage Country! Life out here is usually pretty different from life in the city. That is why you're going on vacation right? So relax, read a book, maybe a book on cottage country wild life, and remember that most critters are more frightened of you than you are of them. It is important to observe some rules when vacationing
Community Notes
Cottage communities have become very inter-dependent. Everyone knows everyone else and keeps an eye on their property for them. Don't be surprised if someone asks who you are. Explain that you are guests of the owner's. Your due consideration of the owner's place in that community will be appreciated - no loud parties or noise after 10:00 P.M., and observe normal boating and water guidelines, etc.
Down the hall you will find a 3 piece bathroom with tub and 2 bedrooms, both with a queen size bed.
Down on the lower level of the cottage you will find a rec room with a sectional couch (pull-out) and a TV; a great place for the kids to go and hang out.
Also on this lower level you will find the 3rd bedroom with 2 singles or pushed together you could have a king as well as the 2nd bathroom and the laundry room.
From the lower level there is a door that leads you out to the spacious yard where you will find a firepit and the trail that leads down to the shore.
The shore-line is natural and includes a mix of flat honeycombed rock and rubble. Entry into the water is gradual.
Enjoy the convenience of a short drive into the quaint village of Tobermory. Spend the day at popular Singing Sands Beach or head out for a hike at the Bruce Peninsula National Park.
