Look up, way up! Strategically placed at the top of a large, tree-covered hill, the view from this cottage is nothing short of breathtaking. A vigorous climb up from the waterfront, is no tall statement that this cottage is at the height of what nature has to offer. This cottage not only offers great fishing, swimming and boating but also keeps you in shape with the "Hiker's Haven" trail from the waterfront deck to the cottage. This climb is not for the faint of heart and can be ideal for those with ATVs and snowmobiles.
This three-level cottage is canopied in pine cathedral ceilings. From the loft on the upper level, the open-concept kitchen and dining room are visible. The authentic wood stove makes this living space warm and inviting and the floor-to-ceiling windows let in lots of natural light. On balmy summer days there is a nice breeze off the lake, and while there is no AC, ceiling fans move the air along inside.
The kitchen has everything you need to make meal prep as breezy as the air off the lake. Let the kids help too by chopping vegetables or shucking corn on one of the four bar stools at the raised counter. The two bedrooms on this level include queen-sized beds. There is also a four-piece bathroom with a Jacuzzi tub on this main level.
Located off of the kitchen is a large living room that incorporates a poker table, pinball machine and seating area with a large flat screen television equipped with a surround sound system and an extensive selection of movies, TV shows and global live sports. The view from the beautiful floor to ceiling windows is breathtaking. One might feel like a bird perched high above all civilization, far away from the hustle and bustle of city life; a very peaceful and relaxing feeling is offered during your stay at this treetop cottage.
The lower level games room is the perfect spot for some friendly competition. Lose track of time engaged in a couple of games of pool and ping pong, or try your hand at foosball, shuffleboard or darts, and indoor putting. Pop open a board game and enjoy a cold drink from the bar or mini fridge. Two more bedrooms complete this level. Both bedrooms have queen beds with private walk-outs to the hillside stairs that lead to the waterfront.
Down those hillside stairs to the waterfront the outdoor/water enthusiasts can find what they came for, a diving board that will thrill the kid-at-heart. You can also jump off the dock or use the swimming ladder. For the breathe-easy type, a relaxing afternoon on the deck or a lazy paddle around the lake in the canoe, or one of the two kayaks just might do the trick. Sit at the picnic table and enjoy a hot-off-the-grill meal from one of the barbeques or head on over to the fire pit for yummy s'mores. Unwind in the eight-seater hot tub before heading back into the cottage for a quiet night. There is no music aloud at the waterfront.

HIDDEN VALLEY HIGHLANDS SKI RESORT- Downhill Skiing is available within a 20 min. drive from the cottage
ARROWHEAD PROVINCIAL PARK has approximately 33kms of groomed cross-country ski and snowshoe trails with trails for all levels, as well as outdoor skating - weather permitting. Ski and snowshoe rentals are available at Algonquin Outfitters in Huntsville. Arrowhead is famous for it's 1km looped outdoor skate trail. They offer skate rentals at the park.
