Nestled amongst the cedars on a small bluff over looking Hardwick Cove/ Stokes Bay, this rustic water front log cottage offers spectacular views and breathtaking sunsets. Shoreline is flat shale rock, making it easy for swimming, unless you prefer a Sandy beach which is a 5 minute walk down the road.
The cottage is open concept with living room, kitchen and separate dining room/den overlooking the waters. Fully equipped kitchen, with fridge, stove, microwave, toaster, and coffee maker - all new appliances. The cottage is newly renovated, has vaulted ceiling, new bathroom, ceiling fans with lights that dim for those cozy nights...
Beautiful stone patio, with a new deck to sit on, with patio table, Adirondack chairs and barbecue. (Propane included) Bring your binoculars and cameras and capture the most spectacular sunsets, every sunset is unique!
Additional amenities, internet, DVD's and DVD player, space heaters for those cool damp nights.
Also, included is a fire pit at the lake front, great for roasting marshmallows, s'mores or hotdogs with the children. Better yet, imagine sitting by the fire with the sun setting and the tranquility of the water, a perfect way to end the day. Also, a new deck by the water, enjoy the peacefulness listening to the wind and the waves.
This cottage is located between Wiarton and Tobermory, and just a short distance from Ferndale (variety store and pizza) and Lions Head (grocery store,hardware store, LCBO, restaurants pubs and quaint stores for those unique gifts). Also, a pharmacy and Hospital.
Attractions: Bruce Trail Hiking, mountain bike trails, lighthouse, grotto, Greigs caves, sandy beaches, fishing and golfing near by.
Pets are welcome! Please keep on leash, and pick up after your pet. There is a comfy pet bed at the cottage to await your friend. As much as we love our dogs, they are not permitted on furniture.
Notes: Housekeeping cottage. Please bring your own sheets, towels, toiletries and firewood. We do provide one jug of water for the water cooler and propane tank for the barbecue.
** There is a steel garbage bin at the end of the driveway for your convenience. Ensure the flag is up for garbage pick up!

| Very nice, clean cottage. Beautiful location with water front access. You can swim here but make sure you bring water shoes as the rocks are quite slippery. There is a public beach 5 minutes down the road. 4 stars due to being so close to neighbors. Although it's fairly private there is a shared driveway and cottages on either side. However I wouldn't let that deter my decision to rent here again. We enjoyed our stay. Beds were quite comfortable. I would recommend bringing a few pans to cook with and the coffee maker was quite slow, next time I'd bring my Tims brewer. Otherwise no complaints.
