I'm CARrie and my husband is ROWan. Together we are CARROW. Welcome to our cottage! It's been a labour of love, sweat and tears to turn this long neglected house into the cozy, clean, character home it is now and we are thrilled to share it with you! Enjoy swimming and fishing in beautiful 3 Mile lake. The dock is only 15 steps down a gentle slope from the front of the cottage. The water is quite shallow along the sides of the dock where it may be just over 5 feet at the docks end. We have a 4 person canoe and a 14 foot fishing boat (tinner) for your enjoyment. After spending the day frolicking in the water, catch the gorgeous sunsets from the deck or in the soothing soft tub hot tub(seats 4-6) And cap off the perfect day with a camp fire sing a long as you watch the constellations reveal themselves one star at a time. Our internet/ WiFi is brought in via old school satellite and may be a bit slower than you're used to. But maybe unplugging for a spell could be just the kind of rejuvenation you need! Should the weather require you to spend time indoors, there's a 64 inch tv on which to watch DVDS or Blue Ray disks. We also have some classic board games, guitars, piano, and even an accordian to keep you amused.
The kitchen is fully equipped, the tap water is potable. Please help yourself to whatever spices and condiments are available.
All paper products and house cleaning supplies will be provided as is propane for the BBQ and wood for the firepit outdoors and the wood stove indoors, should you choose to use either.
Please note that a 30% deposit is required to confirm booking. The remainder is due 2 weeks prior to arrival. Our week long bookings run from Sunday to Sunday and the rate is $2000 for a 7 night stay.
We also ask for a $300 security deposit to be paid at check in. The amount will be returned in full within 7 days of departure if no damage or extra cleaning fees are incurred.

Note: We are a 2.5 hour drive from the Toronto Pearson airport. Although we are located on,' a lake in the woods,' we are only 5km off of highway 11.
Burks Falls is the closest village- approximately 10Km. Pop. 1000. Amenities include a Valumart, LCBO, gift shops, Tim Hortons, etc. Huntsville is a 30 minute drive south.
