EFFECTIVE JANUARY 1, 2024, THIS PROPERTY WILL NO LONGER BE AVAILABLE FOR RENTALS Beautiful, quiet and private 1 acre property. This is private family cottage NOT a cottaging resort. All 3 cottages on the property are only rented to 1 group a time (we never rent to multiple groups at a time) . Your group would have all 3 cottages and the entire property solely to your group. SUMMER RENTALS: 7 nights minimum rental, must be Friday to Friday rentals only **OUR RENTAL POLICY IS: The primary renter must be 25 years old minimum THIS PROPERTY IS LOCATED ON A QUIET COTTAGE ROAD / BAY AND NOT SUITED TO LOUD / ROWDY GROUPS/ WEDDINGS OR WEDDING RECEPTIONS.
TOTAL PRICE = Nightly rate x #of nights + $300 cleaning fee + 13% HST + $750 Refundable damage deposit. Please consult our "Rates" section for details.
MAXIMUM CAPACITY: 20 human beings (day time and night time capacity)
Maximum capacity is based on the maximum capacity of our cottage septic system (plumbing) and if the maximum capacity is exceeded, you risk the possibility of the septic system failing (at your cost to repair). All adults + children + babies + infants count in the maximum capacity. Note that babies and infants use more water than adults due to constant bathing.
We have a brand new 7 person Arctic Spa hot tub that is operational through Covid & all year round. Also a games area with foosball and air hockey in the garage.
We include in the rental:

PET POLICY ( only dogs permitted )
We don't charge a pet fee as assume things will go well. However if our pet rules are not adhered to, then there might be an extra cleaning fee applied.
- no dogs / dog fur on furniture
- clean up all dog waste
- keep barking to a minimum
- do not allow your dog to trespass onto neighbours property ? keep your dog on a leash if they tend to wander
WHAT TO BRING
- LINENS: bed sheets, pillow cases, bath towels, kitchen towels/cloths etc
- PAPER PRODUCTS: toilet paper, paper towels, napkins etc.
- KITCHEN ITEMS: coffee, tea, filters, sugar, oil & vinegar, spices, ziplocks, tin foil, garbage bags

CANCELLATION POLICY
* If you cancel 30 days or more before your check-in date, you will receive a full refund minus a $100 cancellation fee.
* If you cancel with less than 30 days remaining to your check-in date, you will forfeit all payments made up until that point.
DRINKING WATER
Our cottage plumbing draw water from the lake. For most people this water is fine to drink. However, for those who prefer not to drink lake water, we provide multiple jugs of local spring water and more local spring water is available for free in 3 nearby locations: Magnetawan, Burk's Falls and on Horner Road (2 minutes drive from the cottage).
WANT TO BOOK AND SECURE DATES? Please send payment #1 via etransfer. We don't hold any dates without the 1st payment. Your dates are not booked / secured until 1st payment is received and processed. We operate on a ?first come, first served? basis based on payments received and new bookings are coming in all the time.
Once we receive 1st payment, then we will email you a confirmation and the rental contract to be completed.

| Amazing time spent there with multiple families with kids 6-12. Having the different spaces was great for all the families, and to spread out at bedtimes. The hot tub is huge and amazing (and was great for a few polar plunges too!), and the wood stoves kept us cozy through the night. A very special time, and we'd love to go back in the summer!

| We had a wonderful stay at Fernglen. Our three families have been cottaging together for over 25 years and Fernglen provided us with an excellent experience. The facilities were clean and well stocked and Sandra provided a welcome orientation in addition to answering all our questions prior to our arrival. We would definitely recommend!

| Visited this cottage with my family and absolutely loved our stay! Sandra was extremely easy to get in touch with and a great host. We very much enjoyed canoeing and kayaking in the lake and will definitely try and visit again ! Highly recommend to all, especially big groups and for special occasions or even for just a nice little getaway. Everything we needed was provided or specific beforehand that we would need to bring. All insurrections super clear and easy to follow.

| We had an amazing time here! Everything was spotless when we arrived. The first night was colder than expected because we must've not kept the fires up hot enough for long enough but after that, the second night was much more comfortable. The boathouse has a smaller stove so it was still chilly there overnight. The rustic feel of the cabins was amazing, and the view over the lake was unreal! Would love to come see it in summer. The games selection was also awesome! Truly, the only downfall of the cottage itself is the limited kitchen space for cooking for a large crowd. But the hot tub more than made up for it :) Sandra was available for questions our whole stay and you can tell she puts the effort in to keep this place beautiful. Thanks for an awesome stay! Hope to be back sometime!
