We stayed at the cottage for 5 nights. We were 2 couples and 2 dogs. The cottage had plenty of room for us and was very comfortable. It was very clean and had all the necessities supplied. The cottage is on a large, private lot with plenty of room for the dogs to run around. The water is clean and clear with a bit of a current.

Julie, the property manager was amazing. Very nice to talk to, well organized and always available. She went above and beyond to return a pair of sunglasses that were left behind.

We loved our stay. It is certainly a wonderful place to rest, relax and enjoy the water and sun.

Hi Tami,
It was an honor to have you guys, the little bit that I visited with you I could tell you all had a great attitude, great sense of humor. I am so relieved we found your Oakleys, I am in Ottawa often and would have hand delivered them. Love to have you all back. Julie

My husband and I stayed for the Canada Day long weekend with our two dogs. I have to say how pleasantly surprised we were by the size of the cottage and the land. It was very private so we had a wonderful and relaxing weekend. We did a little swimming, soaked in the sun and just enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle of the city.

Julie, the property manager was so amazingly sweet. From the time she took over management to the time we left the cottage, she was there to answer any questions we had and was so accommodating to any need we had. On Canada day it rained for about an hour and all of the fire wood that we were planning to use for the campfire that evening got wet. I called her to ask where we could buy some and she actually called all of the establishments in town to find out who was open and who still had fire wood for sale! I mean, really. Just a sweet and amazing person.

This cottage is big enough to comfortably accommodate 4 people with a large kitchen and living area. There is a DVD player so we brought movies from home for the evenings and the rainy moments. They recently put in new mattresses in the bedrooms so we had a really comfortable sleep. There is a bit of a current in the river, so stay very close to shore. My husband and I are both very good swimmers and we stayed pretty close to shore so we didn't have any issues.

Overall a great place for a quiet getaway! Loved our stay!
