Located north of the French River, at the West Arm Narrows of Lake Nipissing, the privacy of our tucked-away location affords you the opportunity to completely drift away in this magical Lake House setting, while still offering you all the amenities of modern day living.
New for 2023 is our new Yoga Studio space, complete with yoga mats, blocks, bolsters, and exercise mats. The studio is heated and comes complete with in ceiling bluetooth speakers and lighting to complement any event or even relaxing cup of coffee.
There is very good cell service in the area, and Starlink high speed internet, Bell satellite tv, 43" Roku tv and great sound bar with subwoofer.

Make yourself at home - The Lake House comes fully furnished; rustic chic, it offers newly renovated open concept kitchen/living area with spectacular waterfront views. It comes with 3 bedrooms in the cottage, a fully equipped kitchen, and a full 3 piece bathroom. It's the perfect size for couples, or families. *The Boat House loft is the 4th bedroom and has an additional 3 single beds.
Enjoy the many hidden gems The Lake House provides, whether you take a hike around the grounds, swim off the dock, hang out in the boat house, or take a moment in the hammock, you are sure to find a quiet place for everyone. New for 2022 is a a Lily Pad floating swim mat.
When you're ready to venture out, The Lake House is conveniently located 15 minutes away from town where you will find a Foodland grocery store, LCBO, Beer Store, Home Hardware store and restaurant and chip wagons. Across the road from us is the new restaurant at Lakair Lodge, with a great menu for lunch and dinner.
Fishing & boating beyond your wildest dreams on one of the largest lakes in the province! The West Arm of Lake Nipissing is a fantastic lake to explore and fish with many many little bays, islands and rock outcroppings. And with large areas of the lake still surrounded by crown land, you are sure to find some very peaceful places to cast a line.
If hiking or snow shoeing is your calling, we have access to roughly 25 acres of Crown land very suitable for exploring along the granite slabs, as well the Mashkinonje Conservation Area across the road which is sure to offer the trails you're looking for, with another 30+ km.
Perfect for families, fishing and boaters, and outdoor enthusiasts!
The property is safe for small children, as it is a gradual slope down to the water.

| My partner and I had a lovely time at the Lake House. Justin and Maddi are informative hosts, providing everything you need to enjoy your stay. The location in a small bay is very private and quiet with minimal boat traffic (only about 2 other cottages are within eyesight at the shore, but still rather far off). The cottage is nicely renovated and maintained with a great layout. The screened in porch, which had a patio furniture set, and large table, was well used to enjoy the beautiful views and fresh air, without the need for any bug spray! The large deck next to the boat house was great for sunny days, with ample seating, umbrellas for shade, and easy water access. At night this deck was perfect for star-gazing. Lastly, the location is A+: easy to reach, close to essential amenities, and perfect for exploring provincial parks in the area. Mashkinonje Provincial Park is within walking distance, French River Provincial Park is about 30 min away, and Killarney Provincial Park is about an hour away. I would highly recommend this cottage.

| The Lake House is the best cottage we ever rented! Justin and Maddi provided an unforgettable vacation experience.
First off, their devotion to the property is top notch. This is first seen in the wonderful website and Instagram account that they have, and when you arrive, the property is exactly as you imagine it and better! The gorgeous crownland surrounding the site gives you a sense of privacy that is incredible and the views accorded are just amazing! The granite outcroppings provide such a unique landscape to take in on the dock!
The cottage is beautifully renovated and the screened in porch was such an excellent place to hang out in the evenings! The TV and kitchen set up are wonderful!
The dock is the biggest we ever witnessed! It is the BEST place to hang out in the day, and the hammock and firepit really hit the spot in the evenings. The swimming is incredible! I really enjoyed exploring the bay and the water was really warm. I recommend this place most highly to everyone! It is a vacation of a lifetime!

| This is a wonderful cottage to rent. It is quiet and comfortable. The screened in porch is where everyone ends up. Lots of room and the view is beautiful. The cottage looks small from the outside but there is plenty of room. You can get away from it all or if you need civilization, it is a short 15 minute drive into Alban.

| We have been coming to the Lake House for two years and it is our 'go to' summer destination! Everything, from the communication with Maddi and Justin to the set up and the location is superb. The cottage is set far away from the road, is secluded and serene, at the tip of the lake. Great swimming, lots of deck space and floaties to enjoy. Lots of space to walk and enjoy nature (our dog loves it as well!) The house itself has everything you need, is cozy and comfortable. There is absolutely nothing we would change and have no desire to change our summer cottage destination! There were some renovations done to the house recently and that has created even more space, which we loved because we brought another friend with us last year. We also really appreciate Maddi and Justin's loyalty and kindness to their renters. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!
