Dunromin Cottages By The Lake is the perfect place to escape the everyday. Our Cottages are located on Canal Lake in the breathtaking Kawarthas.

We are located on the south shore of Canal Lake and is only an hour and a half drive north from Toronto.

We offer 7 self-catering cottages all equipped with private bathrooms, stoves, refrigerators, propane heat, microwaves, satellite and all the cooking utensils. All cottages are equipped with their own BBQ. The Canal #7 has Air Conditioning and a walk-out deck.

All of our cottages are set back from the lake but are all just steps away from our 2 docks.

Our cottages provide guests with free use of pedal boats and canoes.
Family pets are welcome.

BOAT RENTALS ALSO AVAILABLE.

Open May through October.
2 all season cottages available year round.

Perfect place for family reunions, girls/guys weekend getaways, family vacations, corporate retreats.

Note: Dunromin Cottages By The Lake is located on the south shore of Canal Lake and is only an hour and a half drive north from Toronto. The lake is a peaceful, scenic lake with locks, dams and swing bridges.

Canal Lake is great for fishing with many shoals and bottom features that provide habitat for walleye, bass, pike, muskie and more.

Kirkfield is the nearest village w/ historic brick homes lining the main street. The Kirkfield lift lock (2n highest in the world) takes you to Mitchell Lake.
