Quaint, comfortable lakefront cottage on beautiful shores of Lake Huron - 5 minutes north of Grand Bend. -15 minutes from Bayfield. Quiet area with a single row of cottages. This quaint and comfortable three bedroom cottage has a beautiful, clear view of the lake from the living room, dining room, master bedroom and covered porch. Listen to the waves and enjoy the views from a lounge chair on the back lawn or relax in the shade of our comfortable covered porch. Be ready to hear the birds sing and wait for the white squirrel to visit. We have a large stamped concrete patio that is ideal for barbecuing, dining and relaxing in the Adirondack chairs. Enjoy a walk on our quiet street, watch the sunset and then cozy up beside the natural gas fireplace nestled in its stone hearth. Prepare something delicious to eat in our well-stocked kitchen. Grab a cold beverage from the second fridge and then put the natural gas barbecue to work while you enjoy the view and sound of the water. Our air-conditioned cottage is clean, well-appointed, and very comfortable. Two newly finished three-piece bathrooms and three bedrooms are perfect for a small family, couple or girls get-away vacation. The finished basement provides an extra area to play or relax and lots of space for your things. There are two televisions, Surround Sound, Bell Satellite, High-Speed Internet, Apple TV, a DVD player and a WII to meet your entertainment needs. The backyard is generous with 60 feet of private lake frontage that extends to the water's edge. High water levels for Lake Huron make our own beach conditions difficult to predict. Currently, we have our own stairs leading to a deck and private beach. During times of high water, there is also a private beach area for Cedarbank residents or beautiful Port Blake (4km) and of course lots of action in Grand Bend (7km). Bring your favourite smore items for your backyard campfire with views of the stars and the sound of the waves.
Explore the shops and galleries in Bayfield or historic Goderich, visit Pinery Provincial Park, the Pinery Antique Flea Market, golf at one of the area golf courses or visit one of our local wineries or craft beer distilleries. Enjoy a night of theatre at the local Huron County Playhouse, the Blyth Festival in Blyth or the world-renowned Stratford Theatre in Stratford or take a nostalgic trip to the Starlight drive-in theatre. Grand Bend is just minutes away with grocery stores, restaurants, and many other shops for all of your needs.

NOTES Friday to Friday Rentals in High Season - check in at 4 pm and checkout at 11 am We only rent to families and people over 40 years of age. We only rent to groups of six or less. Interac Etransfer is our preferred method of payment as it is fast, secure, provides you with a record of payment. We do accept VISA payments through Stripe. Visa is the most expensive means to pay in that a 4% service charge is added to your rental by VISA and we as the renter are also charged a fee. Any cancellation must be done directly through Don or Carol Rauser. A full refund less a 150 dollar cancellation fee will be returned to the Applicant if we are able to re-book the cottage for the entire original reservation period. If we are unable to re-book, the applicant will forfeit all monies paid. If the cottage is to be found in good order, the damage deposit will be returned within two weeks of the last day of your holiday. In most cases the deposit is returned by Etransfer within two or three days after your departure. Cleaning services are dependent on availability but in July and August are pre-arranged and included in the rate. Rental Application and Clear Terms and Conditions will be shared through email. | We had a lovely time in June 2023. The cottage was well equipped and the sunsets were beautiful. We saw the white squirrel, a firefly display and the dancing bunnies. Carol was extremely patient with all my questions.

| You will not be disappointed! The information provided in regards to the rental is exactly what it says. No surprises. The Volleyball girls cannot thank Carol and Don enough for a great weak on the lake. The sunsets were amazing, water was cold but great. Very quiet and peaceful place for a get away. Would not hesitate to book again. Do not miss this little gem.
