Beautiful two story, 3 bedroom cottage located on a 66,500 sqft lot on the northern shore of Molega Lake. Cottage life at itīs best & perfect for a quiet, relaxing family vacation. Enjoy outdoor activities like swimming, boating, fishing, geo caching, biking or hiking during the day and have fun roasting smores at a cosy campfire with stunning night skies in our "non light pollution area". | We had a lovely stay in this beautiful cottage! It has all of the things that you need for a comfortable stay. We enjoyed the beautiful decks, fire pit was a good way to end the evening. | This was our family's third stay at The Captain's Den and it was the best so far! Ute, Bernd and Emma always make everyone feel very welcome and the cottage is the perfect family retreat. The lake is peaceful and the night sky is perfect for star gazing. The #1 family favorite, we'll be back soon!

| Our family spent 1 week at the Captain's Den Cottage, and absolutely loved it. The cottage is fully equipped and the layout easily accommodates 6 adults. I have never spent so much time in the water, it was warm, and the beach was ideal for young kids. If you love to paddle there are many islands, coves and a river to explore. The owners live next door and are very friendly, but also respect you privacy. This was a much needed family vacation, and everyone absolutely loved the property, and will be remembered for many years.

| We stayed at the Captains Den in early July with our three children (ages 12 - 17). The cottage was perfectly equipped with everything needed for a lovely holiday - we simply unpacked our food and clothes and were ready to relax and enjoy. The spacious cottage provided lots of room for everyone and we made great use of the various decks and outdoor seating areas. We had a fairly rainy weekend but we had planned for that and enjoyed sitting by the fireplace with some games and DVDs. We loved having such easy access to the lake and enjoyed kayaking and swimming. We had a great stay and great hosts. Highly recommend if you want to get away and relax.

| We had a wonderful family stay at the Captain's Den! What a beautiful place in Nova Scotia. The kids loved swimming and canoeing. We were also lucky enough to see a bunny and frogs. Family bbq's, working on a puzzle, movie nights, the fire pit, and looking at the stars was a perfect way to unplug from electronics, school and work. Thank you Ute, for helping us create wonderful family memories:)
