Driftwood is our dog friendly, family, summer cottage which we rent to other families who would like to enjoy the beauty of nature, privacy and serenity that this property offers. The property is well treed with over 300 feet of shoreline.
The original cottage was built in the early 1920's and over the years has been added onto and completely renovated, while keeping its rustic charm. We have recently built a spacious outdoor shower (yes, with hot water, great water pressure, shaving mirror, a shaving bench for the ladies, dressing room and privacy). A must to indulge in.
As current owners for over 30 years, we moved out of Toronto and built a home on the adjacent property so that we could be there all year round.
Big Gull Lake is one of the largest and most beautiful spring fed lakes in the Land O Lakes region. Big Gull is renown for fishing and is 80% crown land, 88 kilometers of shoreline, 24 kilometers long and has 24 campsites half of which are on its many islands.
