A beautiful GEM!
Well, we have had our summer week holiday here and although the weather was lousy most of the days we still carved out some good times. The screened in room on the water side saved our holiday. We were able to take in the views whether sunny or stormy and that was great. We explored some of the trails in the area and did get to go swimming one day. The Village offers great food and shopping. Bill was great and the cottage was ready for our early arrival. Thanks for another great stay! P.s.: We have kind of adopted this place as our cottage get away...we hope to be back soon ;)

We had an 8 day get away to Bayfield which is a lovely little village with great food and good shops, lots of art shops, antiques etc and the scenery is beautiful. Our favourite spot is The Village Black Dog Pub and Bistro. This cottage was just perfect in every way, nice and private due to the off season, beautifully decorated and had everything we needed. It is small but perfect for two people. I expect that in the summer it will feel larger due to the screened in Muskoka room and the Bunkie. We have booked a week in the summer to take advantage of all this location has to offer and enjoy what we anticipate to be gorgeous sunsets. Because this little cottage is right on the beach, we look forward to swimming too. There are many steps to get down to the beach but we have experienced this before in Bayfield, the upside is that being up high you have amazing views. This cottage has a few deck locations too which is neat and we can't wait to experience them with a coffee or glass of wine. Bill was amazing with his quick responses to my numerous emails prior to our arrival and the few while we were there. Everything was made easy for us and we had ample privacy. Thanks Bill for a wonderful week...can't wait for our August week.

Absolutely stunning view, very clean and well cared for cottage. The property inside and out is amazing - the pictures are only a teaser! Our family of 4 made some great memories - from seeing the bald eagles, swimming in the lake, going for hikes, running the stairs for fun and having s'mores by the fire... looking forward to booking again.

We have rented this charming ' shipshape ' cottage the first week in September for 3 years now and I hope we can make it a tradition.
Everything 'works' and it is a delightful quiet spot with prime sunset views.
I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it.
