This ocean front cottage is just steps to one of the best warm, sandy beaches on the island. Sunset Beach, on the Northumberland Strait, boasts some of the warmest waters north of Carolina. At low tide the sand and tidal pools stretch for miles. It's the perfect place for exploring the beach. . . , playing in the surf or relaxing with a book. Whether you are looking for a relaxing family vacation or a base to explore Prince Edward Island this is a great place to be. Our central location allows for short drives to many of the Island's major attractions. Confederation Bridge and Borden just 15 minutes and Summerside 15 minutes the other direction. Charlottetown with plenty of theater, music, culture and history is just 35 minutes as is Anne's Land and the North Shore Beaches. There are plenty of places to bike, hike and kayak near by as well. You'll enjoy the screened in porch or the newly added full size deck overlooking the ocean. The cottage is clean and comfortable and fully equipped. The three bedrooms include one queen, one double and two single beds. The living area has a new full size pull out sofa as well. The kitchen has everything you need from pots (including a lobster pot of course!) pans, coffee maker, micro wave etc. There are games for the beach and board games for indoors. The full bath has everything you need, but it's the outside (enclosed for privacy) shower that everyone raves about. You'll love the comfort, the view and the location of our cottage on the beach. | The cottage was great. It was very well equipped and had everything we needed. Rooms were very nice and the kitchen and living room were a good size.
The screened porch was one of our favourite spots. We ate breakfast there every morning and most dinners.
It's a short walk to a very quiet beach. It's also a short drive to Summerside and there is a great spot in between for fresh produce. Overall the spot is wonderful and we can't wait to go back next year.
The only thing I could ask for would be a fire pit.

| What a great cottage! Very well equiped, as the note says, if you can't find it, keep looking, it is probably there. We have stayed at many cottages over the years and this one was over and above stocked with last minute things, everyone forgets when you pack to go away. Loved the beach, you can walk forever at lowtide, on sand. Great exploring for children and adults also, lots of little hermit crabs, snails, etc. Great for sitting out in the middle of the beach at lowtide, and catching some sun! The water was warm, and great for swimming. The paddle board was tried, and was fun. (although no one was able to stay on it for long). The out door shower is great and was used more than the one in the cottage. Beds were very comfy, and sleeping to the sound of the ocean was nice. Location is great, private, and not far from Gate Way Village or Summerside. The only bad thing, was having to go home. lol. Look forward to staying at this cottage again. | My husband and I brought our daughters (2years and 14 years) and we all had a wonderful time!
The cottage was very comfortable and was fully stocked with any supplies that we needed which was very convenient! Our favorite feature was, of course, the beach. We loved that the cottage was so close to it and how far you could walk out at low tide. We spent so much time down there looking for tiny hermit crabs and even saw a few big crabs! Our toddler loved it! We enjoyed our stay at the cottage and recommend it to anyone who is visiting the island! Thank you Anne and Peter!

| Great cottage, I can't believe you could fit 7 people in there but you can!! And the beds and very comfortable, minus maybe the pull out couch but we didn't try that one. Cottage has everything you need and clear instructions around in case you need clarity on anything. Ann was great to contact us prior to the stay and even after to touch base, she is avaiable during your stay if you need to contact her. Cottage was more stocked then we would have thought too, many spices and everyday stuff around to use. Beach is close, I wondered about this when I saw the pictures but the small path of about 50 feet gets you right down the the waters edge, wonderful warm water on the northumberland straight as well. Nice and close (10 mins) from Summerside and private enough not to be on top of anyone. Great back deck for eating meals and listening to the sea. I would recommend this cottage to anyone without concerns.

| We all enjoyed our stay at your cottage. It is equipped with everything needed. A plenty of sea food was consumed during our stay. Thank you for having all the instruments available for use. i.e. Lobster pot,crackers,and picks. Your written guidance was also appreciated. Your beach, Red Sands Coastal shore, is beautiful. We tried the paddle board, newbies, during high tide and searched for treasures, flew kites, and watched the Eclipse during low tide.
We have traveled to the East Coast annually, Cape Pele,NB, for over 20 years. Although we have made day trips to PEI over the years this was our first stay. Your cottage and location are perfect for a peaceful, restful holiday.
