Our home is Healing Waters, for it is a restful and peaceful Eden. Our large windows look out to the blue waters of Lake Erie so you can enjoy breathtaking sunrises, magnificent white clouds against blue blue skies, and epic sunsets. Healing Waters provides 150 feet of Lake Erie private shoreline and beach, with newly installed steel stairs (20 stairs, including two landings), steel breakwall and a wooden deck where you can sun yourself. Our sandy beach is a private respite. Play in the water - whether it's calm or choppy, it's always fun. From our beach, you can stroll for beautiful beach glass, watch peaceful fishing boats, build sand castles, unwind and truly relax... From our home, you can view Rondeau Provincial Park to the east and Point Pelee National Park to the west, with lake that seems to flow south forever (and on clear nights, you can see the lights of Cleveland, Ohio across the lake). You won't believe the beauty. We are Canada's sun parlour, on Lake Erie, at the same latitude as Rome and northern California. Situated on the flight path from Point Pelee, bird songs abound. Witness the annual migration of birds and monarch butterflies - it's magnificent. We are 300 metres from Wheatley Provincial Park with its miles of winding trails (some paved for biking) through pristine Carolinian forest where you can marvel at the greens of the flora and the varieties of the birds. Turtles sun on logs and herons wade in the shallow creeks. Canoe the secluded estuary of the park. It's magical. Relax and lounge in our beach chairs, swing in our ample hammock, picnic in our large garden, catch fresh perch and pickerel right off our rocks. Spend your evenings at the fire pit counting the stars. Connect with the freshness and vibrancy of nature. Be together and relax.
Such beautiful surrounds are matched by our beautiful lake house. Our century-old home has been newly renovated (2017) to include all modern conveniences but we have preserved the charm. Roof-top solar panels help to keep us green.

One of our guests recently commented: "I cannot tell you how perfect it was for us, how refreshing, and how nicely appointed it was. Not only was it clean and comfortable, but it was peaceful and lovely as well. I loved sitting on the porch those gorgeous mornings and just letting the peacefulness soak into my heart. We loved the views from the windows as well. It was just great to have all the comforts and conveniences of home including a washer and dryer at our fingertips. The transactions with you were always most professional and timely."
Another guest commented: "Our stay at the cottage was very pleasant. It is an enchanted place, very quiet and private, with that superb view of the lake. We also enjoyed the cottage itself, spacious and comfortable, and the veranda. We spend a very nice week and it was exactly what we were looking for. We will come back!"

| Where to begin? To put it simply, our stay was fantastic! We are a family of 4 - our daughters are 9 and 5 years old and everyone had a great time. The home is clean, spacious, and has everything you need for everyone in the family. Our girls loved playing the board games provided and playing Just Dance on Xbox, while we enjoyed relaxing on the porch and having coffee on the hammock. The yard is beautiful, well kept, and a perfect spot to play all the games you could Imagine - the owners even provide a tent if you want to ?camp? outside a night or two. The fire pit is great and perfect for roasting marshmallows. The water is a little cold but it was calm and beautiful to swim in while building castles in the sand. We rented a kayak from Leamington for the week from Pelee Wings - they were also very accommodating, friendly, and provide delivery. We also ventured into Leamington to go Go-karting, which my kids absolutely loved! The owners were very friendly, responsive and quick to provide information and answer any questions before our stay and while we were there - they've really provided the feeling of a home away from home! Overall, this had everything we needed for a fun, but also relaxing week away from the city! Highly recommend Healing Waters!

Owner response: Kaila, thanks so much for sharing your experience and giving some tips for our renters (and us, we've never tried out go-karting or renting from Pelee Wings!). It does sound like you made great use of the house and surrounds and I am so happy there was something special for every member of your family. Thanks for sharing your experience and please come back soon! Bindu | |

| We had such an amazing time here!! Our biggest decision each day was where to sit, the wrap around porch? (our fave) the bluff under the tree? the hammock? Or down at the beach! It was so peaceful and quiet. We had amazing dinners at the big kitchen table each night. We found a bike trail close to home as well which was awesome! Thank you for sharing this peice of heaven on earth. The name truly says it all.

| My sister and I had a lovely time at the cottage. It is in a quiet and sunny location. We took day trips to Leamington for Mexican food, went to Pelee National Park to go canoeing, took the ferry to Pelee Island for beach time and went to Kingsville to visit three wineries and for lunch. All and all a good week. I would rent it again.

| When we booked Healing Waters, we had plans of touring around the area and visiting nearby wineries. The ?cottage? is lovely, with more than all the amenities required, appliances, board games, internet, DVD's, you name it all the comforts of home. However, we did not get to see much of the surrounding area, because, we spent our entire week sleeping in the hammock while being rocked by the breezes off the water, having morning coffee and reading on the front porch, watching fishing boats just off the shore and enjoying the playfulness of the numerous fireflies . We happened to be there to watch the super moon rise over the lake ?.so many pictures! We did travel once to Leamington (10km away) to get groceries, and stopped at a road side stand for farm fresh eggs ? then returned back to our little piece of heaven for the remainder of our week. Thank you Bindu for allowing us to rejuvenate at Healing Waters. Just what the doctor ordered !!

| My family stayed for a week at this beautiful cottage. The cottage itself is spacious, bright, and well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we could have needed and more. There were games, puzzles, books, sports equipment, and toys for the kids - they always had something to do. The main attraction is the gorgeous view and private lakefront. We spent hours on the beach in the water swimming, playing in the sand and looking for beach glass. The kids were mesmerized by all the beautiful pebbles and stones on the beach. The evenings can be spent around the fire pit making s'mores. The owners are so pleasant, helpful, and easy to contact. We would highly recommend this cottage and hope to return ourselves!
