This spacious log house is rare to find in Ontario. It has the feel of a resort, yet it can be enjoyed by your family alone. Our home will be featured in a romance movies "The Christmas Chalet" and The Enchanted Christmas Cake. The upscale resort Friday Harbour is very close so you can enjoy wonderful restaurants and cafes, shops and a harbour for that European feel most of us enjoy.
There are beautiful country walks in the forest in autumn and winter.
The swimming is ideal as there is a sandy bottom with a very, very gradual entry into the water.There are walking trails and it is very quiet with the sound of birds and leaves gently blowing in the breeze. As the property is large there are different seating areas so everyone can find what suits them best, from lounging in the sun to eating by the water to barbecuing on the deck.
Cottage life is wonderful in Canada, but not everyone wants to rough it. All the furniture has been carefully selected to be just right for the rooms and the linens are beautiful quality, like you would expect in your own home. Gardeners care for the lawn and gardens so the outdoors is always well maintained.

There are 4 bedrooms plus a large loft.which is a quiet retreat.
This is a wonderful all season home, with autumn colours, trails in the deep forest, ice fishing steps away and skiing nearby.

the cottage in the same excellent condition you found it.

The deck is very large and stretches across the entire side of the cottage that faces the lake.
There are five outdoor seating areas.
There is a gas barbeque discretely located on the deck.
Inside, there is a DVD player, a music system, two TVs, dishwasher, microwave and of course laundry facilities on the main floor.
