This lake-view cottage is located on one of the finest beaches on Lake Simcoe, just 50 minutes from Toronto. It is at the heart of small elite community “Balfour Beach” of approximately 20 cottages on Roches Point (http://balfourbeach.com). The cottage is on the peak of peninsula, away from Metro road, very private and quite. The private beach is within seconds walk, and there is 5 minutes to Keswick (by car) for shopping and dining out.
There are 6 bedrooms, spacious living room, and 2 full bathrooms (max. occupancy: 12+3). The cottage is fully furnished and very well equipped. The living room has all-around windows, wood fireplace, and a full-size piano. There is a big patio with BBQ and chezlong chairs. The master bedroom has a king-size bed and a private bathroom, one bedroom has a queen-size bed, and the remaining four bedrooms have each two single beds. Kitchen has all major appliances including range, stove, dishwasher, microwave, and two refrigerators. Cottage has air conditioning, heating, wood fireplace with huge semicircle surrounding couch, piano, gas BBQ, and laundry with washer and dryer. Telephone, cable TV, and high speed internet are available. The community has private tennis, basket, and volleyball courts, a baseball diamond, and a soccer field. There is a kids’ playground and volleyball on the beach.
Swimming and Boating
Majestic bluewater sand beach. There is a long 50 meter dock into the lake, an offshore pontoon, and an offshore water trampoline. Also, there is a small private marina on the lake (two minute walk from the cottage) with a nearby launch ramp. Spaces available for $75 per week.
Kids Camp
There is a kids’ camp (www.campkatonim.com) offering exciting summer activities for children ages 3 to 16. A unique and exciting program operates Monday to Friday for durations of one to eight weeks. In a beautiful country setting children enjoy an enriching camp experience with full waterfront activities including sailing, waterskiing, and canoe trips. Land sports, drama and arts and crafts are also an integral part of the camp experience.
