Inside you'll enjoy the open style concept sunk in living room with complete views of the lake. The two main bedrooms have patio door walkouts to the deck, where you can sit and enjoy your morning tea or coffee. The lower level has a den complete with entertainment area. With ample space for your family and friends, the cottage can accommodate groups up to 8 people comfortably. Nestled on Shadow Lake, in the Kawartha Lakes of Ontario, Canada, Shadow Lake cottage rental is located just 2 minutes from Norland, 8 minutes from Coboconk and 30 minutes from Minden. Connecting to Silver and Balsam Lakes, Shadow Lake offers miles of lake and superb scenery. Summers are absolutely spectacular on Shadow Lake, whether its swimming, hiking, fishing or just relaxing by the campfire, there are plenty of activities to suit everyone. You will see an abundance of wildlife in the area during the summer season, especially water fowl cruising Gull River and Shadow Lake. This is our family cottage. We respectfully ask that you treat it as you would your own home and leave it in the condition that you found it.

We do not rent to anyone under the age of 25, no exceptions.
Rental period is Sunday to Sunday. Check in is 2:00 pm, check out is 11:00 am.
Please note that we only offer weekly rentals during the summer months (July/August).
In order to reserve the cottage, we require a $500 deposit.
The balance is due 30 days prior to your stay.

| This cottage is spectacular. The large property is right on the lake, and there are lots of amenities provided, including watercraft, dock, fire pit and picnic tables. The interior is very nicely finished and furnished, and has everything that you want or need. It was very clean and comfortable. Communication with Adam was excellent, and we enjoyed the peaceful atmosphere immensely. We will definitely book again!

| Adam and Coralee are wonderful hosts. They genuinely want you to enjoy your stay at their wonderful cottage. From the time I booked, they were quick to answer any questions that I had and this continued during our stay.
The cottage is well equipped with everything you need to enjoy your stay. It is very clean and comfortable. The weather was not all that cooperative the week we were there and we didn't even mind. There were games to be played and movies to be watched in front of a cozy fire all while enjoying a beautiful view from every window (on the main level).
The property is spacious and level with lovely mature trees. There are horseshoe pits, a clean, sandy beach for swimming, a dock to sit and enjoy the view or try your luck at fishing and a firepit to enjoy the spectacular display of stars. There is also a generous size deck that wraps around the cottage. Soo much space to enjoy the peace and tranquility that Shadow Lake offers.
Access to the cottage easy on a well maintained road and is only 5 minutes from the amenities of town. You won't be disappointed with this fabulous property.
