Situated across from the ever popular and picturesque Prince Edward County, this traditional 2 + 1 bedroom cottage puts you right in the heart of great cottage country.
This sunny home is located in the Bay of Quinte area on Adolphus Reach. Completely renovated with an open concept main floor, gas fireplace and set on over 2 acres of lawn this cottage provides a child friendly slope to the lake, spectacular views, great swimming and is an ideal location for watersports and world class fishing. The shoreline is smooth lake-stone with a lovely shady sitting area and a new dock.
The cottage is located within walking distance to the Glenora Ferry. It is a free 7 minute ride which takes you to Prince Edward County where you can tour the many wineries, shop for antiques and arts & crafts, enjoy many eclectic restaurants, and of course, visit Sandbanks Provincal Park with its famous Outlet Beach and amazing sand dunes.
There is a free boat launch with-in walking distance of the cottage. On the other side of the Ferry is the Glenora Marina which offers boat rentals and is also with-in walking distance.
Picton is about an 8 minute drive from the ferry. And a 35 minute drive east along the scenic Loyalist Parkway brings you to the historic city of Kingston.
If you are a golfer you can play a round at one of the nearby courses located in Picton or Bath (15 minutes from the cottage is Loyalist Golf & Country Club - one of the best rated courses in Eastern Ontario).
Parking is ample and exposure is south west.
How do I pay for my holiday?
We can make all of the arrangements either by phone or email. We can email you the lease agreement, a map to the cottage, and make payment arrangements then.
What do I need to bring with me?
Not supplied are bed linens (we will supply for an extra $50.00) & personal items such as towels (bath), shampoos and soaps. There are blankets, pillows & duvets for all the beds.
There is excellent grocery shopping 15 minutes from the cottage in either Picton or Napanee.
Waterfront: 2 acre property with 700 ft of shoreline and a new dock!
Heating: Yes
Smoking: No. Outside is fine but please do not leave cigarette butts on lawn.
Pets allowed: Yes. Dogs not allowed in bedrooms
Equipments:
Fully furnished and self-sufficient this lovely home offers 3 bedrooms with 2 queen size beds and one double bed (upstairs one must walk through 1 bedroom to get to the other bedroom). Also, there is a pull-out sofa-bed and an inflatable queen size bed with pump available if needed.
Ample room for tents on lawn if desired.
Linen: BRING YOUR OWN SHEETS AND TOWELS (we will supply for an xtra $50.00) There are plenty of blankets, duvets & pillows for each bed.
Amenities include: fully equiped kitchen with fridge, stove, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, bean grinder, toaster, blender.

3 piece bathroom with large walk-in shower.
TV with DVD and satellite.
NO PHONE but there is cell service.
No internet.

Rental Rates
|
High Season: $1500 per week + $100 cleaning charge (July & August)
Low Season: $1000 per week + $100 cleaning charge (before July & after August)
Weekends (not available in July & Aug.): $550 per 2 nights & $650 per 3 nights.
Renters must sign contract & be at least 25 years old.
$500 Damage deposit is required and refunded upon final inspection.
