Imagine yourself sitting on the deck of a private, cozy, peaceful cabin on waterfront property with a large beach, overlooking Heriot Bay, Rebecca Spit, and the Coastal Mountains watching sun rises, moon rises, eagles and herons. A short stroll down a small hill to the Beach Cabin. Ideal base for relaxing, hiking, swimming, kayaking, cycling.
The Beach Cabin is right by the beach with a small creek outside the back door. It has an eastern view, looking at Heriot Bay, Rebecca Spit and the Coastal Mountain Range.
The beach in front of the cabin is great for swimming at high tide and beach combing for sand dollars, moon snails, and star fish at low tide. This is also perfect for setting off on kayak day trips, whale or bear watching tours, hiking or biking the many trails on Quadra Island, visiting local artists, with many exciting places to explore along the coast.

Smoking: No. no smoking either indoors or outdoors on property

Equipments:
The cabin has an one room open floor plan with a sleeping loft and is ideal for two people, but can sleep more. We supply dishes, cutlery, dish towels, pots and pans etc, towels and bedding. There is indoor hot and cold running water, an indoor shower and an outdoor environmentally friendly toilet.
The Beach Cabin has a queen size bed in a sleeping loft that is accessed by stair-ladder, and a bed/bench on the ground floor.

Location Information: Quadra Island is a 10 minute ferry ride from Campbell River on Vancouver Island. The island has an abundance of hiking & cycling trails, lakes and coastal shoreline. There is a vast variety of wildlife including eagles, seals, herons and deer. The island is set in the midst of spectacular scenery. There are various fishing guides, kayak outfitters, and bike rentals available.
The island has a variety of parks, lakes, shops, restaurants, art galleries and a gas station.
