Beautiful three bedroom lakehouse situated on Rice Lake will be the backdrop for a summer or winter vacation you and your loved ones will never forget. Enjoy swimming, boating, canoeing, hiking, golfing and more. The best fishing in Ontario, and peaceful evenings watching the sunset on your own private dock, while never missing the comforts of home. Sleep comfortably in three large bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, open concept kitchen, family and dining rooms and comfortably sleeps upto 9 people. DETAILS: The four season lake house is beautifully built with hardwood flooring all throughout, complemented with pine cathedral ceilings and has very large windows to capture the beautiful south west views of the lake and sunsets. Sleep comfortably in the Chalet inspired three large bedrooms fitted with king and queen beds including high end memory foam mattress with two full bathrooms. Enjoy your meals with family and friends in a fully equipped open concept kitchen with bar stools and a glass dining room with an extendable table to comfortably seat up to 10 people. Enjoy your gatherings in the very large Great Room equipped with 50" flat T.V. with satellite, DVD and surround sound.
Spend the days and evenings outside enjoying over 125 ft of private waterfront equipped with a large private dock. Over one acre of groomed flat grounds are perfect for badminton, bocce ball, frisbee, soccer or just simply walking about and is equipped with a fire pit. Access the huge wrap around deck from any room and is perfect for those morning coffees, afternoon beers, lunches and dinners or just enjoying those beautiful sunrises and sunsets.

| I had a fantastic stay at the cottage and wanted to share my positive experience. Right from the start, I was impressed by the level of cleanliness and attention to detail. The cottage was spotless and well-maintained, which immediately put me at ease.
What really stood out was the owner's exceptional responsiveness. Any questions or concerns I had were addressed promptly, making me feel valued as a guest. It's evident that they take great pride in ensuring their guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay.
The charm of the cottage itself was undeniable. The cozy furnishings and thoughtful decor created a welcoming atmosphere that made me feel right at home. I particularly enjoyed spending time in the serene outdoor space ? a perfect spot to unwind and soak in the natural beauty.
Overall, my time at the cottage was a true delight. | Revisited after a few years and was pleasantly surprised by the upgrades and excellent maintenance. The cottage has new appliances with a fully stocked kitchen, bathrooms are upgraded, and looks like a new modern water system providing city-like water pressure. I especially like the wood decor truly gives it a rustic look and with the large windows you can see the entire backyard with an amazing view of the lake. But what I love most is the location, can't beat this large waterfront property with its peaceful setting and lush green grass, and Hastings/Campbellford are close by incase you need to restock. It's nice to see the hosts commitment to guest satisfaction as you dont see this often with other rentals, it's a true haven for relaxation and a perfect getaway for those seeking a tranquil retreat.

| The cottage is very nice for about 8 people with all major amenities, located on a large and peaceful waterfront property with luscious green grass and lovely scenic look out. True cottage feeling with wood decor, large windows, fully equipped kitchen and comfortable beds. A great place for boating, fishing, relaxing, and playing. Highlights are a large fire pit, canoe and 2 kayaks with life jackets. Communication with owner is quick and effective. Highly recommended for a nice getaway with family or friends to enjoy!

| Ali's place has an amazing location! Not too far from Toronto (less than 2 hours) and very close to Hastings! The water was fantastic, we were scared it was going to be weedy, but it was perfect for swimming! Canoe and kayaks were great too and we got to cross to the other side of the lake. The view is the best highlight along with stargazing at night from the dock. There were a couple downsides though, for example, the washer and dryer are listed in the posting and instructions for guests, but are not permitted to be used by guests. As mentioned by other reviewers, the shower pressure in one of the washrooms was so weak we were unable to use it (it's just dripping out). If these two things could be fixed, the cottage would be perfect! Host was great too, good communication except for the washer and dryer part. Lovely place for family and friends alike.
