Testimonials
Hello Craig,
We've arrived home from our visit to Newfoundland, and just wanted to add to what we wrote in your guest book about the lovely home you let us use for part of our time there. I've stayed in many beautiful hotels and B&B's both professionally and on holiday, and renting your home in Hearts Content was one of the best choices ever. You thought of everything that could make our stay extra special, lots of nice little thoughts that really made a difference. And whoever keeps it so clean and tidy for you is doing a wonderful job. It really was idyllic and we enjoyed the experience very much. Among the things we brought home are great memories of Oceans Nest and the people of Hearts Content who were so nice to us.
Thanks again, Jackie and Lloyd Turbitt
This cottage is by far the greatest place i've ever had the opportunity to stay, my husband and I spend 2 beautiful nights there for our 5th anniversary, greeted with an anniversary basket, thanks again Craig & Bruce!!!! I would recommend this Cottage to all, it's 5 star all the way
Can't wait to go back again!!!
Craig & Bruce certainly had out done their selves by making this place One Incredible Place To Stay

My wife and I stayed at Ocean Nest cottage from July 2nd to July 5th, 2010. When we arrived we really were amazed at how beautiful this house is! From the back deck with table and chairs and bbq down into the back yard with the rocking swing for two overlooking the stunning vista of the harbour, it really is something you have to experience. When you move into the house itself it gets even better. This house has been decorated and furnished with the finest of antiques, furniture, and linens. Great care and pride has been taken to restore this house to its Victorian grandeur and Craig and Bruce go the extra mile to ensure their guests have a wonderful stay. We highly recommend Ocean Nest!

This is a beautiful and meticulously clean home. You are sure to enjoy your stay in this lovely cottage. Don't forget to leave the porch door open in the hall in the evening so you can enjoy the effect of the outside lighted tree shining on the large stain glass inside.
Brenda
Wonderful house to see and visit. Owner should be proud of what he has done to restore this beautiful home. Anyone who visits will have a rewarding holiday not only for the house but also the area for one to discover.
