Description
|
This beautiful year round residence is located on one and a half acres of woodland and meadow sloping to the lakefront and is surrounded by the Gatineau Park.
Built in 1996 the cottage is nestled in a lovely Quebec rural setting, but only 25 km from lovely town of Wakefield and only 50 km from Ottawa.
The lake is perfect for children, it is shallow a fair ways out. The lake is often very quiet and good for canoeing fishing and swimming.
3 ski hills are from 25 - 60 minutes away.
Hundreds of miles of cross country ski trails cut though Gatineau Park and are 1 km from your door.

There is cathedral ceiling and floor to ceiling windows in the living room. There is also a fireplace. There are hardwood floors throughout & 6 bedrooms ( 5 with queen beds and one with 3 single beds.
There are 2 full bathrooms and 1 bathroom with toilet and sink.
There is a 42" television with blue ray player.
There is hi-speed internet.
There is a fully equipped kitchen with 5 appliances and a bbq.
There is a ground source heat pump furnace.
There is a canoe.
There is also patio furniture seating for 8.
( May-Nov.).
All sheets and towels are provided.

Rental Rates
|
Weekly from September 10 - June 25: $800.
Weekly from July 1 -September 10: $1,500.
There are no rentals available for durations shorter than one week over the summer.
Weekend rate or midweek rate ( off season only ): $500. for first two nights, additional nights at $100.00.
There is an additional $100 charge for cleaning.
Christmas/New Years period $1000 per week
There is a $100 cleaning charge.
Cancellation Policy:
If you cancel more than sixty days before the commencement of the rental we will refund your deposit less $150.00 administration charge.
If you cancel less than sixty days before the commencement of the rental - we will return your deposit (less $150 administration charge) for those periods we are able to rent the cottage. If we are unable to rent it or are unable to rent it for the full period in the rental, you will forfeit the deposit for those periods that are not rented.
