Heilemann Heights is: more than just a guest house/ cottage. Previous guests have referred to it as a five-star resort. As well as a paradise that they don't know whether to keep it a secret or share the information!
This facility is ideal for ACTIVE families, as it is situated in the center of a myriad of wonderful activities that the modern, active family will never forget.
This gorgeous 3 bedroom guesthouse/cottage is on Kashagawigamog Lake, one of a five lake chain. This cottage is just steps away from the closest hard pack sandbar beach in front of the cottage,(across from the cottage road) and another larger sandy beach is just a five minute stroll away.
Enjoy the clean, clear, refreshing water or watch the children make castles in the sand. Enjoy the large dock that would have room for 1 boat upon approval (owners boats are at the dock) and a swim platform out from the dock for your leisure or swimming pleasures.(docks are pulled in September depending on weather) Enjoy the waterfront sun deck while everyone is splashing around.
Boat tours with Lady of the lakes are available at a cost if you don't have a boat.
(Returning guests can store the essentials of their choice in a locked bin that will be kept in the garage)
The fire pit is a fun place to be in the evenings whether making s'mores, singing or telling your stories. (check for FIRE BANS before starting any fires)
The guesthouse/cottage is less than five minutes away from the prestigious Pinestone golf course and six other courses are within a 15 min drive. The Haliburton Fleming Art School is less than 5 minutes away. Fleming has a BEAUTIFUL SCULPTURE FOREST as well.
Ski - mazing is available on our lake offering para sailing as well. 10 min drive to Minden's kayaking rapids. Sir Sams has mountain biking and a Fall Hike to enjoy the fall colours.

| We recently spent a week at Heilemann's Heights cottage as a group of 7, including 3 children. We were greeted on arrival by Sharon and given a thorough overview of the cottage and amenities. Both Sharon and Steve were very helpful and responsive during our stay when any questions came up.
Although the cottage and the owners home are in close proximity, we found them to be welcoming and encouraged us to feel at home. Guests are given privacy if desired but they are also accessible for assistance.
The water/dock located across the street were very clean and well kept. Guests have access to water equipment if desired. We especially enjoyed the swim up dock. The water was clean and free of weeds. A small beach area with sandy, shallow, warm water is a short 5 minute walk away.
The cottage itself was very clean and ready upon our arrival. The games area was wonderful and provided a lot of entertainment for our group. We loved having the big outdoor patio and picnic table outside for meals. Sitting outside also provided an opportunity to see the family of deer living nearby, which was a definite trip highlight!
Our stay fell on an especially hot week so we appreciated the ceiling fans/other fans provided by the hosts.
Groceries, LCBO/Beer Store, restaurants, hiking, farmers market close as well.
Overall our group thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cottage. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend it to people looking to spend time in the Haliburton area.

| We just returned from our first stay in the Hailburtons. This guest house is a hidden jem. Absolutely emaculate with every convenience at your finger tips. The dock area was clean and always had the water sport equipment ready for daily use or you could just sit and enjoy the beautiful view.
Sharon and Steve are the perfect hosts making you feel like family without being intrusive.
They responded to any of our questions or concerns that we promptly. We loved it so much we are planning on returning next year. Thanks so much

| We just returned from an outstanding week at Heilemann's Heights. We were a group of 5, including our two kids ages 6 and 8, and my father. The accommodation was great and spacious. The games room downstairs was a lot of fun in the evenings. The waterfront was by far the best feature. It had a spacious dock, that easily accommodated all 5 of us at a time, with lots of room. The swimming off the dock was deep and we couldn't feel any weeds at the bottom. There was also a really great swim raft. Sharon was a wonderful host and even took us on a boat tour and a tube-ride. The girls absolutely LOVED it. There are lots of opportunities for outdoor activities. We spent a day biking on the rail-trail, and spent another day paddling and fishing up the lake. This cottage offers lots of outdoor opportunities. We would love to return!

| Our family stayed at this cottage last winter, and we enjoyed it so much we came back this winter. The beautiful cottage is clean, tidy and well equipped with many of the things you need. There is so much to do during winter- skating on the lake right in front of the cottage, x-country and downhill skiing trails a short drive away, sledding right beside the cottage to name a few. The owners are really nice and friendly, and respond quickly to any questions.

| We just returned back from an amazing week at Heilmann's Heights. The accommodations far exceeded our expectations (we are not regular cottagers); everything was clean, neat, tidy and we were fully equipped to enjoy a fantastic week (we over-packed with so many things that were already provided). Sharon, Steve and their son Bryan were so kind, they truly went above and beyond to make sure our trip was a memorable one. We enjoyed our week so much we have already booked for August 2020. Thank you Heilmann's for an amazing and memorable week. We look forward to our annual cottage vacation for years to come.
