Waterfront Georgian Bay 3 bedroom cottage faces west for long summer days and terrific sunsets. Original stone fireplace (1936), safe sandy beach, dock and amenities: wifi, television, dryer, 3 piece bathroom, deck, privacy, kitchen for 6 includes microwave, coffee maker, toaster. Just bring your own linen and towels. Boating through inland channels to the Honey Harbour and Port Severn areas for those with boats and kayaks; very good fishing nearby. Many local attractions include the historical sites of Ste. Marie among the Hurons and Discovery Harbour, religious site the Martyrs' Shrine, and for hiking the Wye Marsh Wildlife Centre and the Tay Shore Trail. Restaurants and entertainment in Midland only eight kilometres away. Victoria Harbour has a grocery store, pharmacy, post office, LCBO and Beer Store, hardware and laundromat. | I really have to agree with a previous comment that the pictures in the listing do not do this property justice. We stayed for a week and had such a lovely time. This place has the rustic cottage feel and has everything you need to enjoy your time there and make it feel like home. The beach is great for swimming and is shallow for long enough that it was warm getting in. We brought our kayak and loved getting out on the water. It is rocky so bring your water shoes. The tv is on a chromecast system so we watched our usual streaming services from our phones. There are board games for rainy days so you will never be bored. We have stayed at other cottages in the area before and this one is by far the best value for the price. Thank you Ian for sharing this wonderful property. We will definitely be back someday.

| Our experience was fantastic!
Even as first-timers the reality went beyond our expectations: quite, clean, as advertised, fantastic view and the kids had a lot of fun, not to mention that we were able to have a nice dinner with what we fished few meters away from the dock!
We will definitely try to be there next year!

| We just returned from a wonderful relaxing week at this cottage. The photos don't exactly capture how lovely this cottage really is. It's very clean, the beds are comfortable and spacious enough for everyone. We loved having the beach right in the backyard where we could swim or use our small boat. The owner was prompt and helpful with any questions we had.
We would love to go back again.
