(Sorry we are fully rented for the 2008 season) Flint Island is located in the Lake Fleet of Islands, nestled in the heart of the 1000 Islands National Park and 3 km from Gananoque. The island is accessible only by boat (local rentals can be arranged). The large cottage has four bedrooms and sleeps 7 people comfortably. It has spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River and very large screened in-porch. The cottage has 2 sinks, kitchen sink and a shower. Washroom facilities are located 150” from the cottage in 2 seated screened in outhouse. On Flint Island even the outhouse affords great views.

Flint Island features deep moving water around the entire island. Spectacular sunrises and sunsets are seen through a mature pine and rugged Canadian Shield backdrop. Flint Island is an ideal family holiday location, perfect for all water activities including - fishing, sailing, swimming, scuba diving or just relaxing.

Children are welcome; however, parents must be aware that the 1000 Islands National Park is rugged terrian.

Cottage Rental Facilities
The cottage was built at the turn of the century. It is a large wood-framed, 2 story structure with 4 bedrooms, sleeping 7 people comfortably. It has spectacular views of the St. Lawrence River from a large screened in porch. The cottage has a full kitchen, dryer & shower. Washroom facilities are located 150” from the cottage in 2 “seater” screened in outhouse. On Flint Island even the outhouse affords great views.

The dock provides deep and sheltered dockage.

If you require a boat rental, we can arrange this for you at a local marina. Boat rental charges are extra and not included in the rental price.
