Great getaway for a long overdue romantic holiday or a fun family gathering or vacation. This spacious light-filled home has sky-lights and cathedral ceilings and a combined kitchen-living room area with a wood-burning fireplace. The 3 bedrooms can comfortably sleep up to 9 people. Kitchen has concrete counter tops, Jenn-air gas cook top and grill, and a one-of-a-kind hand-carved wood bar/tabletop that seats 8 people who can congregate and watch the chef whip up a gourmet meal.
Chalet Mont Cascades is less than a 5 minute drive to the nearest grocery store and gas station, with video rentals, fresh produce, wine, beer & liquor. Nearby local attractions include the scenic Mont Cascades golf course, nature walks, ski resorts, the Lafleche caves, Scandanavian Spa,tree-top walks, zip-lines, paint ball, horseback riding, auto racing, beaches at Gatineau park, and the quaint shops and restaurants of nearby Wakefield. Cantley offers great bicycling country with rolling hillls and beautiful winding roads that follow the Gatineau River. Or spend the day exploring Ottawa, the Nation's Capital with its world-class museums, cultural events, Jazz, Blues and Chamber Music festivals, summer theater, restaurants and shopping and return to spend a quiet evening unwinding in the hot tub on the deck under the stars.

Equipments:
A concrete ramp leads from the parking area to the entrance way and the first floor has a stunning Mexican-tiled bathroom (disabled accessible) and two bedrooms. The 2nd floor houses the master bedroom and a full bathroom with a two-person bath and elegant stone tiling. The outdoor deck is partially covered (to escape the rain or hot sun) and has an outdoor hot tub. We also have wood-burning Turkish fire pit and a small barbeque.
We have recently set up an home entertainment system with a giant projection screen, movie projector and a state of the art sound system.

Location Information: This country home is located 25 km from downtown Ottawa. We are about a 2.5 hour drive from Montreal, and approximately 4.5 hour drive from Toronto.
This home is located on a hillside overlooking Mont Cascades ski hill and a 10 minute walk down to the Gatineau River. The Mont Cascades Water Park is a 2 minute drive down the road. The Mont Cascades Golf Club with its breathtaking vistas of the Gatineau Hills and river valley is a 10 minute drive away.
