Description
|
Delightful cottage on one of the most picturesque stretches of beach on the Ottawa River.
Child friendly, gradual walkout swimming; small aluminum boat for use (your motor if desired); dock usage if you have your own boat; paddleboat available. Great fishing. Opportunities for canoeing, golfing, hiking, biking, kayaking and white water rafting. Clean flowing river which is so wide at that point that it is called Allumette Lake according to the map.
Historical & cultural points of interest indigenous to the area (i.e. breathtaking waterfalls and canyons; Pembroke giant heritage murals and shopping. Champlain Trail Museum, the Hydro Electric Museum, tea room, waterfront entertainment in Pembroke, restaurants and more. Provincial Parks nearby. You can be as busy or laid back as you choose to be.

Smoking: No. outside only on deck.
Equipments: Blankets, spreads, pillows, kitchen towels and dishcloths are supplied (personal linens are to be supplied by the renter). Sleeps 1-6/. Two bedrooms with double beds, with additional sleeping space for two on hide-a-bed in living room. Large bath; two eating areas (one at counter bar inside and the other on the glass-enclosed porch). Air conditioner in living area and ceiling fans in every room. Enclosed porch and outdoor deck offer seating and views of beach and water. Stack washer/dryer for small loads, refrigerator, stove, microwave, dishes/pans, coffee maker, grill, books, TV-dvd player, etc.

Rental Rates
|
|
Summer Seasonal rental only from Saturday to Saturday. High Season Rates(June 29,2013 - Sept. 7, 2013) Family rate of $700 for the first week; $650 per week if staying for 2 or 3 weeks; $600 per week if rented for four weeks. Low Season (June 15, 2013 to June 29, 2013; and Sept 7, 2013 - Sept 14, 2013) at reduced weekly rate of $550.00 and bi-weekly rate $500.00 per week. Renters are expected to leave the cottage in the condition they have found it upon arrival.
