Carmelita By the Lake, www.carmelitabythelake.com is a boutique style, 6 bedroom, 4 full bath cottage rental. Across a quiet country road is where you will find Maple Lake in the heart of Haliburton Highland, Ontario. We guarantee this is the finest cottage rental to be found in the area.
We are located 2.5 hours north of Toronto, 3 hours from Ottawa, 45 minutes to Bracebridge, Gravenhurst, Port Carling, Hunstville , Muskoka and world reknown Algonquin Park. Dorset, Lindsey and Minden are even closer.
Our 6 rooms consist of three (3) queen beds, 2 double and one room with two twin beds. Two rooms have TV, DVD, and fireplace. Most rooms comes with CD clock radio
The Guest Lounge is equipped with a large screen TV, DVD, Blu Ray, CD player, VCR and a surround sound for everyone's enjoyment and fireplace to cozy up on those chilly nights. Firewood is not provided during the summer. We provide you with CD's, and books to read inside on the deck or by the lake. Utilize the paddle boat touring Maple Lake or use one of our many bicycles to get to know the neighbourhood. We provide a hot tub for your use with the exception of July and August. There is a jacuzzi tub in The Bogart Loft.
We provide a well appointed kitchen that includes all the amenities to be found in a fully equipped kitchen, including an espresso machine, water filter and a cooler that sits on the back deck with the BBQ. A picnic basket is available should you decide to pack a picnic and explore.
You have the ability to dock your boat at the dock and we can accommodate float planes on Maple Lake by our dock.

Deposit will be forfieted if smoking takes place inside Pets allowed: No. You will be evicted with no refund of your rental or security deposit if we find any pets or individuals not on the rental contract during your rental
Equipments:
Enjoy the hot tub that sits on the deck and looks directly onto Maple Lake(not in operation July & August). There is a seating and lounge area on the deck that stretches the length of the house. By the dock you will find another seating area and a park bench. You may be rewarded with passing loons. By the dock you will also find the paddle boat and we provide up to 6 life jackets that is required when on the water in the paddleboat.

Rental Rates
|
Low Season, November to April $2200.00 per week High Season, May to October, December 21 to January 9th and March Break, Thanksgiving, Easter, $3200.00 per week. Nightly rates available except for July and August at $700.00 per night
Weekend rate is $700.00 per night, minumum two(2) nights, 3 (three on long weekends). Nightly rate does not apply for July and August.
