Cottage Rental Facilities
The Lodge has a footprint of over 10,000 square feet (~1/3 is off-limits). There is a finished common area of approx 3,500 sq ft. Includes a well-equipped kitchen, full laundry room, library with 1000's of books, pool room, lounge and bar, ping-pong table, board games, etc... bbq, pots & pans, glasses, china, cutlery, etc, are all included as is all bedding, pillows, towels, etc.
Huge "party room" (~3,200 sq ft - great for rainy days)! Extensive decks overlooking the Lake (southern exposure) - large lakeside docks.
The Lodge has an attached guest suite – full bathroom, three bedrooms (#1: double bed; #2: queen and single; #3: two queen bunk beds). There are also several fold-out couches. Additional rooms in the Lodge with 4 single bunks; 1 queen bedroom and 2 rooms each with a double and single.
Rates
2008 Rates (entice facility plus the guest house):
Victoria Day to Thanksgiving: $6,000/week.
Holidays and week-ends: $1,000/night.
A booking deposit is required together with a cheque for the balance post-dated 30 days prior to arrival. 5% GST applies to all rates.

Notes
We host weddings from Wednesdays to Tuesdays (6 nights) mostly in May, June, September & October (up to 100 day guests).
July & August available by the week only from Saturday to Saturday.
Ideal for up to 20 overnight guests.
We live on site in a separate residence and are readily accessible if you have any problems or need something during the course of your stay.

We are about mid-point on the Rideau Waterway (a UNESCO World Heritage site) which extends from Ottawa to Kingston. Our location on the North Shore of Big Rideau Lake is directly across from the Village of Portland (on Highway #15).
