VISITOR COMMENTS:
Had a great week :-) Thanks very much for the rental of your cottage. The kids swam all day and we had fires at night. Couldn't have asked for a better "end of summer" week. Halifax, NS (August 2011)
The pictures on your website don't really do the cottage justice. Beaver Tail cottage was just what we needed for our vacation. We found all that we needed in the well stocked kitchen...did a little biking, we hiked up into the woods one day - it was beautiful. It was interesting to watch the young ducks grow during our visit. Thanks for sharing this beautiful spot with us. Toronto/Halifax (August 2011)
This is such a beautiful spot, the cottage, the lake is so peaceful with all of nature all about and so many families of ducks. Absolutely everything we needed was here. We enjoyed the fire pit, made lunch on the grill a couple of times. You have a wonderful cottage...I hope I get the chance to return for another visit. Ontario (August 2011)
Had a great time. The cottage by the lake for a week was fantastic. This is a beautiful spot. My son loved the lake...bikes were a nice way to enjoy a cloudy day. Having use of barbecue, paddle boat and wood stove made the stay all that more enjoyable. Dartmouth, NS (July 2011)
What a wonderful week! What a beautiful & peaceful spot! The kids swam every day...We rode the bikes, went for walks and saw lots of wildlife (ducks, deer, rabbits) which delighted the children. Lake was perfect for canoeing and swimming. Our 12 year old daughter fished for the first time and caught 8 bass and was delighted. Thanks for an amazing and very relaxing vacation. Saint John, NB (July 2011)
Thanks for an amazing week! We all had a great time, whether we were out in the water or just relaxing in the sun! This cottage was a great way to escape from a busy life and just have some R&R! It's a great vacation spot, couldn't have asked for a better place to come! Thanks for an amazing vacation! It was very well equipped and organized. We enjoyed the lake and the deck so much. Dartmouth, NS (July 2011)
What a great week! We all really enjoyed the cottage, the paddle boat, the ducks, the s'mores and much more. Thanks for the week and the memories that will last much longer! Enfield/Elmsdale/Sackville, NS (August 2010)
We've just had an amazing week here at Beavertail cottage. The atmosphere and serenity was perfect for our first week of vacation. Today we are leaving and our only wish was that we could stay longer. One word of warning to all...beware of the green couch. First you sit on it, soon you lie back on it and then before you know it, you are asleep dreaming beautiful dreams. We all fell victim to its sleeping power. The lake is wonderful to canoe. So calm. The kids loved the lake for swimming...I could go on for pages about all the positive experiences we had. Thank you for providing us with everything we could have possibly needed. You've been very thoughtful. (August 2010)
Thank you for a wonderful week - we swam, paddled, fished...and watched the loons every day! We particularly enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. It is a great spot for relaxing! Ontario (August 2010)
What a great week! Totally able to relax and enjoy the surroundings. Swim everyday, fishing every day... Liverpool, NS (August 2010)
We have just spent two wonderful weeks at your lovely cottage. The peace and quiet great. I mostly enjoyed the fully equipped kitchen. Lots of great spots outside for entertaining. Thank you for everything. Grand Barachois, NB / Calgary, AB (July 2010)
