While vacationing in the beautiful Tobermory area, you will need a comfortable "home-away-from-home" to relax & unwind after your busy day. Our clean, comfortable 3 BR cottage is the perfect place to stay! Only a 5 minute drive to the Tobermory area (Chicheemaun ferry to Manitoulin Is. & sunset dinner cruises, scuba diving lessons, Bruce Trail, glass bottom boat tours of shipwrecks & Flowerpot Is., variety of restaurants, shops, laundramat, groceries), golfing (mini & 9 hole), new Parks Canada Visitor's Centre with an amazing view at the observation tower, medical clinic, bank & nearby beaches. Close to Cyprus Lake Provincial Park and Singing Sands Provincial Park.
The cottage has just had two new rooms added: a new entryway with a lovely covered porch to enjoy the outdoors on a rainy day, and a new living room. The new entry also serves as a sunroom to enjoy a little quiet reading away from the main part of the cottage.
The kitchen was recently renovated with a new breakfast bar with built-in wine chiller, new cupboards, ceramic tile backsplash & ceramic tile floor, new countertops, and sink. There is a water cooler, newer appliances including dishwasher, microwave, full-sized 30"stove, fridge & a fully- equipped kitchen. Sliding patio doors conveniently open from the kitchen to the first sun-drenched deck with new Broil King BBQ, lovely flower pots, water fountain and patio table and chairs where you can enjoy morning coffee in nature's tranquility, surrounded by pink roses & a lovely view of Lake Huron.
New wood laminate flooring was just installed in the livingroom, dining room & 3 bedrooms. The dining room seats six people and has a beautiful new professionally-installed Napoleon woodstove against a lovely, exposed brick wall to enjoy on cool nights. The new living room has an airy vaulted ceiling, an electric fireplace for either instant warmth on a chilly evening or just for the ambiance, a 32" TV, DVD, VCR, satellite TV with a walk-out to a large new deck with recessed HOT TUB, bar stools and table.
Two bedrooms have comfortable QUEEN beds and the kid's room has double/single bunks, TV & PS1 and toybox. The bathroom has been totally renovated in 2010 incl. tub/shower, new fixtures, walls & ceramic floor. Sliding patio doors conveniently open from the kitchen to another sun-drenched deck where you can enjoy morning coffee in nature's tranquility, surrounded by pink roses & a lovely view of Lake Huron. The new SCREENED-IN GAZEBO allows for mosquito-free enjoyment while you gaze out at the lake and bird-watch! Perfect peace and quiet...Enjoy!

Cottage check in time is 3:30 p.m. Saturdays. Check out time is 11 a.m. Saturdays. 50% non-refundable deposit is required at time of booking to secure your reservation. Balance is due approx. 8 weeks before your vacation. **The cottage will be cleaned and the hot tub will be tested and shocked, with $95 charge. The dishwasher must be run & unloaded, any leftovers removed from fridge, and all garbage removed from the premises on your departure date. Please clean up after your pet & dispose in garbage. Failure to follow these instructions or exceeding limit of 6 guests (maxmum 4 adults) will result in forfeiture of your $175 security deposit. Also, safely dispose of cigarette butts outside without littering on grass. BEDDING & TOWELS ARE NOT PROVIDED. At the first of the season, we supply the first tank of propane, dishwasher soap, water bottle, etc. PLEASE BE CONSIDERATE OF OTHERS AND REPLACE AS USED!

This cozy cottage in Tobermory has everything you need for a wonderful vacation! There are books, games, movies, and even an extra TV in the "kids' bedroom" for playing video games (PS 1). The spacious treed lot is very private (we also own the wooded lot next door). The kids can "blow off steam" on the wooden play structure, with swings and slide. Kids love to hunt for frogs, minnows, salamanders, & other interesting creatures. There is a wonderful variety of wildlife: hummingbirds, chipmunks, blue heron, loons, and an occasional visit of a fox. Relax with a good book in the new SCREENED-IN GAZEBO down by the water and catch the lake breezes. At night, light the outdoor candles and enjoy a glass of wine while you soak in the soothing new HOT TUB. Or, tell stories around a blazing fire in the pit & toast marshmallows while star-gazing. The perfect opportunity for some quality time with family & friends. You won't want to leave!
