Description
|
Our family four season lake house on a ¾ acre lot, with the preferred south west exposure is located on quiet picturesque Long Lake. You have access via the river that winds its way through the bird sanctuary, into Campbell Lake for more sightseeing or fishing. Both provide for great large and small mouth bass fishing as well as black crappy.
If you are not sunbathing, swimming or just relaxing under the sun canopy on our 12ft x 28ft floating dock you can relax on one of two large decks. The lower deck, 10ft x 40ft lg. has comfortable Muskoka chairs, suspended double swing set and a hammock. The upper deck provides for a sitting area, powered shade awning, barbecue, and patio doors that open to a cozy living room. The screened in Muskoka room also has patio doors on the deck side as well as patio doors off the master bedroom.
Our lake house is very peaceful and private, nestled in the Canadian Shield with tall maple, oak and birch trees. The cottage is immaculately kept throughout. The country kitchen with two sky lights is bright and fully equipped, appliances are new.
There are 4 large bedrooms with separate living and family room, enough space for large family get togethers. The spacious family room (with wood burning stove for the cool evenings) has large windows for great views of the lake and access to the lower deck through patio doors. Enjoy your morning coffee on the front interlocking stone patio basking in the early morning sunrise.
Bed configuration is 4 Queen size beds plus 1 pull out Queen and daybed. Maximum occupancy is 12 people.
We are located just 15 minutes from the town of Parry Sound which offers wonderful tours of Georgian Bay, Charles W. Stockey Centre for the Performing Arts, Festival of Sound, public bowling, movie theatre, Bobby Orr Hall of Fame, shopping and much more.

Included in rental is use of canoe, , table hockey, croquet, lawn darts, Dart board, inflatable dingy, Bell Express View, 2 TV's, 2 dvd players, selection of dvd movies, playstation 2 with games, , stereo, gas bbq and propane, full kitchen including fridge, stove and microwave,dish , laundry washer and dryer, water cooler, life jackets, patio furniture, and extra fridge in laundry room. 14 foot fully equiped fishing boat with 25 hp with foot controlled Minkota availabe for rental.
There is also a nearby park (10 minute walk/3 minute drive) with playground equipment, large sandy beach and in-water diving dock. ATV and snowmobile trails at your doorstep.
Bring your own boat and moor on our dock. Sea Doo personal watercraft rentals available from Near North Recreation. They have a number of 3 passenger SEA DOO GTI, 4 stroke personal watercraft available to rent. They will easily pull a tube, water skier or a wake boarder. If you're into fishing, Long Lake offers great small and large mouth bass, pike and crappy that are sure to give you some memorable fights for both young and old alike.
